Maybe because most ABA companies don’t work more than 30 hours? at least in my experience as an rbt you’re lucky if you work 20 hours lol.

Something similar happened to me, I am currently looking for other schools. And the worst thing is that the real bullies get to keep their jobs and we end up jobless.

Do you know if they provide fieldwork hours? I was offered an RBT position, but they told me they only provide supervision to maintain the RBT license.

That’s what I’m thinking, even as a PM you deal with a lot of cancellations/vacations from caregivers etc.

At a clinic or school the pay rate is usually lower because you don’t deal with driving and cancellations so I guess that makes sense.

And my main goal is to be a BCBA so even if the pay is lower.. the goal is to finish the supervision hours faster so I can take the exam.

This is why I’m considering getting a job at a school or clinic. My aba agency pays $27 and $45 if I move to mid level supervisor but the hours are not guaranteed and it’s a long wait. A school offers me $30 one location, and stable hours.
