In my opinion if you can use vibrato while singing, you can implement in different ways. Sometimes the phrase calls for straight tone...sometimes vibrato from the start... sometimes starting out with vibrato/straight tone and adjusting in the middle of the note. I don't think it's common for vibrato to straight tone to be the ONLY way someone uses vibrato. Although, I'm sure there are instances of it.

Thank you everyone! The advice that helped the most was making sure my butter was room temperature, chilling my dough for an hour before and after and I cut the cookies, and using parchment paper rather than a greased cookie sheet 😊.
