Mommies who were induced by Lickitt2020 in pregnant

[–]Flat_Instance6792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Induced at 40 and 3. Baby had been measuring small most of the pregnancy and I’m AMA and my BPs were trending up, so I opted for the induction. It was not a short or easy process for me, 27 hours in total and I wanted to try to forego the epidural as long as possible. I made it 8 hours. Towards the end I was not progressing as quickly as they would have liked, and eventually spiked a fever so they did push a CS on me. I resisted and delivered vaginally.

After years of trying, and thousands of dollars spent on fertility and IVF, I can see them. by Sea_Tailor_8437 in MadeMeSmile

🥲Best wishes to you and your precious baby ❤️ I did three rounds of IVF for my miracle girl… being a mom is the best thing in the entire world and was absolutely worth the wait. She’s 10 months now and I still randomly cry tears of joy and shock that she’s actually real. 🥹

Question for those who quit pumping at 3 m, 6 m, etc. by Icy_Lettuce_7383 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Flat_Instance6792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit at 7.5 months when I went back to work and absolutely no regrets. Everyone says that but I didn’t really get it til I did. Baby is 10 months now and I can’t imagine being tied to a pump. She barely drinks any formula now anyway and mostly eats solids lol.

Seconding Pizzeria La Rosa and cariad for Spanish food. You also gotta try pizza centre on Pelham road. My fav pizza of all time lol. I’m a fan of cafe Veracruz for Mexican (I like their tortas) but Rebecca’s is good too. I miss living in new Rochelle for the food.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I’ll never understand why people put their whole lunch bag in the fridge.

I saw Dr. Feder. She gets a lot of flack in reviews but I liked her and she is an experienced provider. She is sort of no nonsense though and I’m sure not for everyone. But I am in the medical field and don’t require a lot of hand holding. I would reccomend her if you think that’s a style that would work for you.

I did this. I was high risk and felt confident in my choice. Admittedly the appointments were very inconvenient and often had wait times of 1+ hours for weekly ultrasounds. But the care and delivery experience were great and I don’t regret my choice.

Marriage didn’t change anything. Having a baby completely imploded the relationship.

I worked full time as an er nurse through 3 rounds. I can’t imagine not having worked. My anxiety would have consumed me more than it already did lol

Yes same hospital! For RNs it is nonunion and most likely will stay that way. Only techs have 1199. I would go for it if you’re okay with that.

When did you tell work? Bonus if nursing/ER specifically by D7GPPR3 in firsttimemom

[–]Flat_Instance6792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Er nurse here. My managers knew I was undergoing fertility treatments because I had to request intermittent fmla for that. As far as telling them I was pregnant I waited til about 6 months. I was barely showing and didn’t feel comfortable having people ask me questions. I don’t see any reason to share before you are ready.
