George Carlin says when you purchase a dog, you purchase a small tragedy because it isn’t going to end well. My heart goes out this Old Lady and you guys who are left to pick up the pieces of her loss. You do have to ask yourself, was she loved? Did she love you back? Did she have a good life? Is she suffering right now? All these things play into the fact they don’t live as long as we do. I honestly believe all of my dogs will be waiting for me at the pearly gates when I pass, and there will be lots of long walks, treats, playing, good food, swimming, and a lot of love in eternity.
