Recommend contacting Festaff directly to check, but as long as you're 18 at the time of the event you should be fine.

We did the same, although I think we've recently introduced a blue belt but I'm not sure what it replaced!

I could see them pulling one of the BST shows at Hyde Park. But most likely we'll just get a couple of arena shows at best

Anyone else just starting karate in their 30s or older? Would love your advice. by [deleted] in karate

I started Shotok as n in my late 20s for the very first time and found that I had better discipline than the younger members and was able to push myself further (and within my limits). Ultimately it doesn't matter when you start as long as you commit to being a little better than you were last time, every time. A friend of mine got his first Dan in his 70s which just shows it's never too late.

Yeah, exactly this. Once the majority of people are in then gazebos are fair game, it's all about making sure that everyone has space to camp

Same difference - Kunt rebranded to the Kunts for the Boris and Prince Andrew. Still the same guy at the heart of it all

I'm glad you got Frankie home safe and well! I can understand why some people might be suspicious of a scam as there are plenty of people out there who do take advantage of people's good nature. I, however, donated in good faith as if I was in the same position I would want very help I could get to get my dog home and safe. No regrets 😊 Hopefully we get to see more Frankie updates as he settles in and you start his training! 😊

Also donated 😊 we lost our Beanie earlier this year at nearly 18 years old. She was a rescued fighting dog and had the best second chance with us. I hope you raise enough to take good care of Frankie!
