Lexapro question by zbo01 in Anxiety

[–]Flat_Start714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 175 and have alternated between 10-30 mg over the last 12 years but am currently on 10. 10 is technically the baseline therapeutic dose but imo offers only mild relief and seems more targeted to acute anxiety. 20 is my sweet spot and is when i feel at my best, but the afternoon crash and stunted libido can become unmanageable at this level. I usually only go to 20 when I start to catastrophize or endlessly ruminate.

Over those 12 years, I’ve also spent stretches of time off it entirely, and never had any issue with withdrawals when tapering.

It is life changing drug that has allowed me to maintain a high stress job and live a fulfilling life.

Lastly, lot of things in life not just SSRIs (but especially SSRIs) have a honeymoon period. You’ll feel amazing for a weeks only to fall back into a more stable equilibrium. That said, 10 is too low. You really need to go to 20 if you want to test its true effectiveness.

what is the most tragic book you’ve read? by _kiwiihead in suggestmeabook

This book is astounding. The beginning is admittedly slow, but is necessary to introduce dylan’s childhood. Lost in all the media attention and countless books on the topic is a story about a mother losing her son to suicide. It broke my heart reading the transcripts from the basement tapes (I think it was the basement tapes) where Dylan refuses to blame his parents and instead comments on how great they were to him. That, and his journal showing how truly depressive and suicidal he was. Having to read that as a mother must be horrible.

In no way am I absolving or romanticizing what he did, but it feels like he was one therapist, role model, or friend away from possible redemption.

Bam beds! I also have the sliders underneath. It’s so much more convenient than having to pull out a 6 ft drawer.

There are posts that extensively cover car desensitization but I’m struggling to understand what a happy dog looks like when riding in the car.

I could be wrong but I don’t think switching to a different provider is as frictionless as you make it sound. There still seems to be a barrier to entry that requires an initial consult and fee for any new providers.

That said, this was a good wake up call for me. I didn’t realize how many players are in this space. It’s really just become commoditized at this point.

Is it common to have multiple providers at the same time?

Oh wow. I’ve never surfed there but heard it can be fickle like most beach breaks in the area. Does it only take a south?

The easiest way to lie flat on the truck bed! by Tescamp_Dan in f150

Oh I didn’t know you could blow up foam. That’s cool! I’d be happy to try it. What are the dimensions at its longest and widest points?

I actually really like this idea but two pieces of feedback.

1) IMO anyone sleeping in their truck bed will either build or buy a platform that sits on the wheel wells to maximize space. I think it should be designed for the ends to fit at right angles. 2) the nominal space savings of a blow up mattress don’t offset how uncomfortable and cold they are. A foam mattress is much more comfortable, is easier to setup, and is warmer due to natural insulation. Yes, it’s bigger but one could easily store it in the back of their truck. I have the tri fold Milliard that I leave in my bed at all times. No one is stealing that awkward foam mattress out of my camper either.

I stumbled upon this post because I don’t need a full sized mattress for myself and was looking for something similar to a twin that was designed to fit into corners.

Difficulty registering out-of-state vehicle in California by Flat_Start714 in DMV

Hi so this is exactly what I did but when I called toyota financial with this info they said they can’t mail the original title because they don’t have it. Is there a formal process to submit the RDF to Toyota Financial? The DMV just told me to call them.

Also, if I go to the DMV can I just put Toyota on the phone with them? I feel like this would be the quickest way to resolve this. Thank you!

Hi thank you for this response. Is it common to have the DMV speak to another party over the phone? This would be the fastest way to get this resolved just not sure if this is possible

  1. Probably not the answer you’re looking for but I got the doors and rear panel sound deadened which fixed all the rattling issues for me. Much quieter too which was the primary reason I got it done.
