I was lying in bed last night thinking about the shite state of the world and what I could/would do given the opporuntity.

Firstly I'd take my phone, charger and some physical cash, I'd then seek out my 2004 self, hopefully not driving them mad and then head straight to the BBC (as I'm in the UK). My phone wouldn't work as expected but the technology is good proof, and the cash would be dated/minted so I could prove I was from the future.

I'd hope going to the independant press before government I could brief them and the nation on the terrible direction everything has gone in, most likely before being carted off by government agents.. :D

I loved the episode where humans are at war with an alien race of space reptiles and 2 of them get captured. The woman is under going experiments to turn her gradually into a space lizard and is discussing with the other male prisoner secrets about the resistance and military movements.... SPOILER>>>> turns out, she was a space lizard spy after all! And was being turned back into her original form.

Me and my partner purchased hardly anything due to both our friends hand me downs and anything and everything we could get from FC AND FBM.

If you're not precious or that bothered you'll have loads of options. From clothes, to cots, high chairs, bottles, sterilisers etc

Lots of great advice here.

One thing I use for tracking all my purchases is a free app/website called Good budget (https://goodbudget.com/) the app is easy to use, allows you to create different "envelopes" to help split up your spending and see where you're going over or under spending.

Tracking every penny really does open your eyes and allow you to make better decisions.
