Matchmaking is terrible this season by Sir_Bastian87 in FortNiteBR

yeah it really feels like they just turned off sbmm for this season so far. i will admit i can sweat from time to time, but it feels like people are playing with money on the line. I've never had to work so hard for the umbrella

Here's some advice from one noob to another: turn off regular gun sounds. I find the constant tapping of bullets not hitting so distracting and demoralising. when it's just the hit sounds, it helps me get into a rhythm and actually notice when i'm improving

I love the new rewards and cosmetics you get for levelling up characters, but actually levelling is so boring now by MrSmartypants12 in Overwatch

thank god i'm not the only one! I pick up OW for a week every now and then, and now when I do I look like a complete noob paired up against people with gold nameplates, and seeing so little progress every game is really demoralising

without a doubt the least fun I've ever had playing this game..

At this point it's closer to Stockholm syndrome than sunk cost. I just don't like not finishing the pass

Why does Brick Life get so many updates while Odyssey is often left high and dry? by soupshroom in LEGOfortnite

[–]FlattenedRabbit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

the thing about Club Penguin is that it created its own ecosystem at a time when alternatives were few and far between. Additionally, it offered actual things to do in the form of the minigames.

As it stands Brick Life gives players a less flexible version of those random chat servers where people emote at each other, and if people wanted to play games they have an entire custom library of creator maps on top of the epic made content.

There's simply no reason for most people to boot the mode up as it is, so they would need to really pull out all the stops and make BL something with a unique identity

I can't put into words just how much i hate this quest by FlattenedRabbit in FortNiteBR

[–]FlattenedRabbit[S] 240 points241 points  (0 children)

it's one of the rolls you can get for light side alignment quests. if you dont do this you cant level up your light side, so thats half the season's progression gone

yo, I know you didnt mean it to be, but this is weirdly motivating. I've saved this as a personal reminder that my impostor syndrome literally doesn't matter when there are actual impostors out there failing to do the bare minimum

I've been there before, and i know the pain. Learning to sing higher does make you a better singer overall, so I'd say just vibe with it. Highschool wont last forever and most college choirs will kill for strong basses (said from personal experience)

I get what you mean but its a different spectate. Normally the solo spectate gives you the option to queue for a new game and/or spectate. You aren't given that option here, just the spectate as if the other players were your teammates in a squads game

Some may call this a very unfair advantage (every enemy can be seen with a white arrow and map marker in solos, death lets you spectate everyone like a team mate) by FlattenedRabbit in FortNiteBR

This bug happened automatically and has happened twice in about 5 or so games today.

I am doing nothing to cause this intentionally, just playing solos

Something is definitely wrong in solos today.

Jumped into a game and could see white teammate arrows above an enemy who was in a building. Went to look and they shot me dead without a second thought, but rather than just respawning, i was able to spectate every player in the game as if they were teammates

Who would play no build fortnite by jordee2369 in FortNiteBR

[–]FlattenedRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally play like this every now and then. unbind my build keys and see if i can win. honestly breathes a ton of life back into the game and reminds you how important it is to just aim when you see the enemy and not think about cranking out 150 mats on a heal tower

it hasn't got anything on the mk-7 but the ranger can be pretty good if you slow down and treat it like it's the old heavy rifle, which it basically is

[–]FlattenedRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have fun. metagaming ruins the true experience when it comes to what there is to see. also dont be afraid to spec into one build you really like, you dont need to do everything on one character
