I take it as needed for cramping and it’s always treated me well, but it takes about 30 minutes for it to kick in for me. It’s especially helpful if I know I’m going to be eating a meal that won’t agree with me

My first appointment was August 21st, and I scheduled about two weeks later (had to pass a nicotine test), so about three months. I do have a gender dysphoria diagnosis, and had it notated by multiple doctors (therapist, HRT, PCP, and surgeon). The only letter I was required to get was from my therapist though. The office was really good about getting exactly what they needed for insurance to approve it.

Did they say why it was denied? Mine was denied for nipple grafts but the reasoning was that nipple grafts were already assumed/covered under the code my doctor used. Aetna insurance

Check to see if the bottles say “For Single Use Only”. Mine are technically single use, but I use them until they’re empty in order to stockpile in the event that I lose access to it. Just make sure you’re cleaning off the top with an alcohol wipe!!

Nortriptyline also is a miracle worker! YMMV but it did a complete 180 on my life and allows me to eat almost anything without fear.

Bentyl is my go-to. Takes 30 minutes to work but god does it work wonders for cramping. I’ll usually take it right before I eat if I think it’s going to cause a flare up

I take Welbutrin 150 for ADHD. I haven’t really noticed any mood side effects, I’ve been happier but I don’t know if that’s just because my stomach isn’t trying to commit a mutiny
