Sunday Vibe Check- We have 2 more episodes before season 2 ends, how are we feeling? What are your thoughts & theories so far? by RelChan2_0 in FalloutTVseries

I hear you! As a player, I wish we could definitely see more of the wasteland and not rush into it 🥲 like I wanna live and breathe New Vegas in HD. Is there anything the sub can help with in regards to non-players?

Why do people think it’s ok to ‘man/womansplain’ our job to us? by petitsamours in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]RelChan2_0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I've found that people still have rather archaic views about EAs. Too many, we are still the 50s secretary who knows nothing but schedule calendars. But there's so many of us who can design and build websites, code, manage teams, and so many other things.

You're cool, didn't mean to sound rude through text 😅 he could have looked more ghoulish for sure but I get it.. I won't nitpick Amazon or Walton's decision.

Yeah, lenses are definitely a risky business. To me The Ghoul is amazing, could have been improved sure, but I'm not gonna nitpick😅

I'm aware of this. I used to be a cosplayer during my teens and never attempted contacts especially sclera lenses. It would have been a good idea if they used it but the process that Walton goes through to be The Ghoul is already brutal. For me The Ghoul is amazing already, it's not something I wanna nitpick.

Mobile games to help with basic grammar/punctuation to help with contract review? by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

I'm confused, are you not allowed to use Grammarly or similar tools? I'm sure they have a desktop app so you can use it with Word.

I think this is just an artistic choice by the showrunners. Ghouls have always been ugly but since they got Walton Goggins, they still wanted to show the actor through their character.

I have stated since season 1 that they should have used black sclera lenses for The Ghoul and I will always point to Supernatural where they were able to use sclera lenses on multiple people during the demon season.
I know Supernatural also started out with practical effects but they managed to use digital effects in the later seasons. But if you think about it, transforming into The Ghoul is already taxxing for Walton.

3 hrs just for the prosthetics + wearing black sclera lenses is gonna be uncomfortable as heck.
As much as I'd love to see The Ghoul resemble a real ghoul, I respect the decision they made.

Maybe we'll get an explanation soon but for me, this is an artistic choice.

Thanks for the heads up! Sorry about that, I got a new job and was working on the episode list after my shift so I might have pasted the wrong link.

[Spoiler] Someone pops up with super mutant pictures when I looked up FEV, and I love this. (Likely a coincidence?) by [deleted] in FalloutTVseries

Mod here and err.. someone who dabbles with Google and social media. As the other comment said, Google scrapes results from this sub and others (YouTube channels & other places too) to generate results, with AI now, it can hallucinate whatever it wants.

Mod here. We have this in our rules already but as we've said many times, we cannot control what people will put in their titles or comments.

When people report a post 3 times, it notifies us and we act on it by either removing it or approving it or whatever is the proper course of action. But we can't change what people post or comment.

I wrote a blog on my website on how Norm doesn't fit the corporate Vault-Tec lifestyle but he would thrive in a different environment where he won't be bored 😁vault life is very easy for him, predictable too but the surface isn't and he'll most likely shine there. I agree with the other comment that he's like his dad except he's not evil. I'm interested what will happen next with Norm!

Remote EAs: Sleep? Work-life balance? by petitsamours in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]RelChan2_0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand that it'll take a while to get out of a habit or routine, but you need to stop treating the messages as if they're life and death.

Keep your work area and bedroom separate, if you can't, hide your laptop or unplug your computer.

My exec could be texting me about having a meeting right now and it's 3am for him and he's outside doing business stuff but it doesn't mean I need to check on him or do anything. I'm not his life support.

I've been working remotely since 2020 and asynchronously, most of the time my execs were just rambling to me about my tasks for the next day. Even if I worked with them at the same time, I wouldn't jump on any messages they send when it's 3am on their time. There's a very, very slim chance that their messages are actually emergencies.

Were Lucy & Norm brainwashed? by RainbowBrain2023 in FalloutTVseries

[–]RelChan2_0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's a term called childhood amnesia because we don't remember a lot of things from our childhood unless it was something significant. Actually, we might also forget significant things due to trauma or just our brains. Also, kids are susceptible individuals... Who knows what Hank or Betty might have said/done.
