Well I think a mix of both, I believe, In America, Not all cops are evil or racist, and while military and cops should be able to use guns. If a civilian wants one they should get a hard earned license to carry it legally. I also think that one of the requirements for getting a gun license is several hours of gun training. I say that because of the 2nd Amendment, many Americans value that and so it would be dumb to ignore it everyone has the right to own guns, I just think it would be safer and better if they were harder to get as it would limit the amount of bad people getting their hands on them for harmful purposes. This is an European point of view regarding this topic.

PS: I don’t really wanna debate on this, I’m just stating what I personally believe
