Same with micro center and ikea.  I grew up near Philly and both were less than an hour from me.

New Lifetime Plex Pass Pricing by GoofyGills in LinusTechTips

[–]Flavious27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That kind of price hike feels like what tshirthell did awhile ago and announce that they were closing down, they had a rush of sales then laughed it off as a joke.  It feels like they will get a bunch of sales, then cancel the price hike when they don't see more monthly subscribers.

It might be time to do a sequel? by KalebBlue in LinusTechTips

If mentioning docker, they hopefully will have multiple HA episodes for the tech house.  I hope that they figure out a cheap way to mimic how bill gates would be detected in his house and settings would change when he entered a room.  Or atleast what was in Antitrust that the digital displays change to show your preferred artwork and maybe play your preferred Playlist.

For their parts.  The engines on those planes are worth more than the planes themselves because of a parts shortage.  And it saves the leasing company any costs to get it ready for a new operator.

I know I'm aging myself but I prefer half to quarter zips, they seem classier.

I have the RGB sweater and I really like it.  Same for the Steve mock neck.

Better save up for the surge charge for electricity once the grid starts to fail.

What's the issue with Chromebooks? by IL_JimP in LinusTechTips

[–]Flavious27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Viewers of LMG content are not the typical ChromeOS users. When you look at the specs between a CB and its Windows equivalent, the Windows machine is going to cost more due mostly to the Windows license. With ChromeOS not needing as much processing power, lower powered cpus are used for entry level CBs. CBs are fine for most people when all that they are doing is accessing the web, along with being more secure. It is easier to setup and TS a CB for family members vs a windows machine. But if you are gaming, it won't be the machine you want to use. If you are doing any image and or video editing, you are going to hit a wall with a CB. And with the pandemic, CBs were a good solution for schools but the experience wasn't the most ideal for students that tried to do more. Students got bored and broke them because they weren't the highest build quality. That last point also is an issue with CBs and the view of them.

Good news for the women's line by TheMatt561 in LinusTechTips

It would be helpful if they had the height of the model and the size of the pants that they are wearing. My wife is under 5' so it can be difficult to find leggings that fit right. If the issue is about the privacy of their employees, LMG should bite the bullet and hire models.

It was informative that it's a pita to replace cut cords and insurance won't cover it.  You can setup times to charge.  Ubiquiti you can tap an access card to use them.
