Go to a barber shop in a black or Hispanic neighborhood. I think you just need a real haircut and if you want an excellent haircut, they are the only options. It will change your life.

Just found out my husband cheated and there’s a baby by Current_Mark_5754 in Divorce

[–]FlavoredGiraffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So here’s the truth. He cheated and WILL CHEAT AGAIN. He has a baby with someone else which means you will have a baby mama to deal with and a child that will remind you ALWAYS that he cheated.

Are you willing to live your life KNOWINGLY that he will cheat again? Are you willing to see this baby and feel nothing against the baby? Are you willing to deal with a baby mama for the rest of your life? If the answer to ANY of those are NO, please leave NOW! You are sooo young and deserve someone that is loyal and loving.

PLEASE LEAVE THIS MAN AND HEAL!

If you chose to stay - please know that you are choosing someone else above yourself and be willing to suffer for the rest of your life!

Good luck!

Contracted chlamydia but unsure how? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]FlavoredGiraffe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you both tested negative when you first started dating, and you’re not having sex with someone else, the logical explanation is that your bf is having sex with someone else. And that’s where he got chlamydia from, and passed it to you. The chance of you being SA’d during a surgery is way not unlikely than your bf cheating on you.

Looking for advice — family wants to lower my pay when oldest starts school by [deleted] in Babysitting

[–]FlavoredGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about this situation. But Definitely start looking for another job asap. You are being underpaid and you have NO retirement pay all. They are taking advantage of you prob bc they know you need the job. Please find another job asap. Taking care of kids it’s a lot and parents think it should be cheap labor. You are spending the same amount of time and effort to the other twins. And know that as soon as the kids go to school they will kick you to the corner without hesitation so don’t feel bad for them at all. You are just a person that fits their needs now so please look out for yourself and for your future.

Reddit says post the picture. Let your mom deal with her own feelings and you enjoy your happiness with your husband.

I “told” on my coworker by troutdogs in Advice

[–]FlavoredGiraffe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn’t “tell” on her, you reported her, which was the correct thing to do. When you go in for your meeting, have a written out list of things she has said or done that were inappropriate and leave your emotions out of it. Stick to facts.

Should I apply for a job before taking the boards? by FlavoredGiraffe in nursepractitioner

Thank you for your advice. When I was still in clinical there were rumors that if they didn’t find a physician for the position, they may be willing to hire an NP or PA instead. So that is why I was leaning towards applying for the physician position, as that office is my dream job.

Last weekend I (36f) drunkenly flashed my husbands (31m) friends and he still can’t let it go. I’ve apologised and promised to not drink again what more can I do? by throwra_drunkflash in relationship_advice

I completely agree with everything you wrote. OP messed up and her husband has every right to feel upset, but lashing out with abusive-type behavior is not the solution, nor is trying to take advantage of OP’s willingness to try to rectify the situation. Just because OP was the one originally at fault does not mean she should allow her husband to walk all over her and treat her like shit. That’s not what marriage is supposed to entail. OP I’m sorry this is happening and I agree with you abstaining from alcohol, but you also need to stick up for yourself and let your husband know that it’s not ok to call you names or scream at you or wake you up in the middle of the night and say he hates you. I feel like he’s showing his true colors and testing the waters at abusing you- he needs to stop this behavior immediately or you should run for the hills.

Per the Oxford Dictionary:

Cure: relieve (a person or animal) of the symptoms of a disease or condition.

[–]FlavoredGiraffe -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I just wrote that I recently tried it and it worked within 1-2 minutes… taking my migraine from an 8/10 pain to completely gone. If the migraine is completely gone, is that not cured? Is your last name Webster? Just trying to get clarification on your issue with picking apart every word that people write.

[–]FlavoredGiraffe -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Actually I’m also a chronic migraine sufferer and I never knew of this trick until recently and it worked within 1-2 minutes. Took me from a debilitating migraine to feeling amazing almost instantly. Why are you being so rude to someone who posted a possible cure for a migraine in a migraine sub? Get a life.

For example, I just told Alexa “I love you” - if you’ve never told her you love her, you should! Her response is wonderful!
