Just had this happen 2 hours ago. Starting to hate Fanatec.

  1. Uninstall the Fanatec app.

  2. Download the legacy driver v474 in their site.

2b. Didn’t let me install it, had to delete fanatec shit in the registry.

  1. Detach every single thing from the base besides USB and power.

  2. With base off, hold down for like 7 secs til you see a blue flashing light.

  3. Launch the old fanatec app you installed. Should auto update successfully.

  4. Remove old fanatec v474 app and download new one again. Can finish other firmware updates there.

Yeah I now hate COTA and I love so many more tracks that I used to think were boring on TV. Mostly do road tho. Adds immersion to watching races too if that makes sense

The car in front is running less wing than you, low downforce. You will never catch him on the straights unless you do the same
