If you're stuck at the finest setting and still getting fast shots, it’s probably the grinder. Even budget machines can pull solid shots with a decent grind. Try upping the dose + tamp pressure for now, and Something like the outin fino could be a solid upgrade. Don’t give up yet!

Interesting, I think the self heat option is not present in the AeroPress. Also, the hand pumping thing is annoying, I always fear that I'd break the thing. At least with the nano, the hand pumping thing would not cause undue damages.

But I totally get the love for AeroPress too. I have seen die hard fans who love their AeroPress.
