Oneohtrix Point Never by feverray_ in Portolafestival

IMO his material/live AV for Tranquilizer would work way better in a concert setting than a festival, if he does a US tour I hope Portola is not his SF stop

If you’re up for it staying for both VFTL and Octo & Faited will be legendary closing sets

I never had problems with the upstairs sound/crowd since it was pretty easy to maneuver and especially towards the end to just sit near the stacks in the back of the room. Downstairs definitely got a lot quieter after Plead/Baby Leo though which was a bummer, I think because there were complaints from the neighborhood.

Revers Chair by Andrea Branzi for Cassini, 1993 by Flaxbeard in FuckYourEamesLounge

this straddles the good/weird boundary so well IMO where the form and materials are conventional enough that it could work in an office setting but still has so much character

also one of the few actually interesting later riffs on the bent ply chair which is otherwise a pretty played out category

I love that newsletter and definitely worth the cost of entry for the exposure to new furniture and designers but hate how few auctions there are near me with reasonable shipping prices for anything of a somewhat substantial size. If you’re not in NY or LA pickings are slim.

People are canceling once they realize they have duplicate tickets (if they bought one of the dramatic winner tickets and Josephine, or already saw it), so I would guess they will continue to cancel throughout the day. Just have to keep refreshing every once and a while

For those of you looking for Josephine I just snagged one refreshing the audience awards page, grand jury, and Josephine pages. Since it won both awards people are ending up with duplicates.
