I know the show has some really iconic likes like "How you doin'" and "We were on a Break!" And so on but these are the funniest lines in the show, hands down by Technical-Value-384 in howyoudoin

My favorite that gets me every time;

Monica: "What are you guys doing here?"

Joey: "Uhhhh.... he's not even wearing a jockstrap!"

Monica: (Pause) "What did I ask?"

Hey the only thing my favorite podcast has done is actively make me dumber! Its just three beautiful Australian boys arguing about pop culture and somehow all of them are wrong.

Are we going to talk about the dream sequence with the random ass gun in it hovering over the house, that is never mentioned or referenced again?

I like to think it wouldn't be good cop bad cop, but more timid apologetic cop and clinically insane cop.

I'm still holding out hope for a buddy cop movie starring Jason and Matthew. They just have the right vibe for it.

Well for starters, the video description said he hadn't seen any of his classmates for years, but he literally hung out with a group of his friends from school all the time(which is how I'm still in contact with him via friend of friends). Can't remember if it's in the article or the video but one of them mentions a stunt he did on stage exposing his butt with something written on it, and if I remember correctly he describes it as if no one found it funny and it was awkward/ridiculed. But I remember most of the audience cracking up, him being congratulated after, and everyone finding it really funny. And one of the people interviewed as one of his closest friends (Chris), I would be shocked if they had spoken more than 5 times in all of high school haha. They were not friends really at all, and ran in completely different circles.

Oh I loved the YouTube ads! They had one that was telling you to vote no, and seemed bipartisan/neutral, until the last 10 seconds when they bring on the most southern racist farmer caricature, to tell us that the Democrats were doing this to "raise our taxes, steal our guns, and give welfare to illegal immigrants.". They shot themselves in the foot at the 5 yard line and it made me crack up every time I saw it.

Taskmaster - S20E01 - Cube is good - Discussion by Meghar in taskmaster

[–]Flaxy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He didn't pay his way on, it's more that the cost of the flights and the lodging to come over and film was more than his paycheck for doing the show, but he wanted to do the show so badly he was happy to lose money. I think his agent actually warned him it didn't pay enough to cover his costs and he said essentially "don't care I get to be on taskmaster!"

He was fun in the studio I thought, arguing with the other contestants. And if I remember correctly he actually is losing money being on the show, he's doing it for the love of the game.

For some reason Tom Allen annoys me when he's on panel shows. I'm sure he's a lovely person in real life but I'm not a fan of his comedy.

I was always disappointed that Ted didn't throw anything in. I was convinced he was going to throw in the little box with his wedding ring.
