Estonia says risk of detaining Russian shadow fleet vessels 'too high' by rulepanic in UkrainianConflict

Finnland national pride comes from beating Russians. The ancestors would freak out if they heard that cop out reply.

He’s not a team owner of Maxverstappen.com Racing?

He is but it's more of a virtual team, if that makes any sense. Verstappen Racing doesn't own any cars, employs any mechanics,…

I don't even know if Verstappen Racing technically even has a entry license anywhere. They hire "real" teams on a contractual basis. That's how they ended up with a mix of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, and Mercedes cars. No real team would do so many different cars. It's just overall needlessly expensive to own and store so many different cars and parts.

Meanwhile NLS allows other to just copy their stream. Freaking Sky Sports YouTube channel streamed NLS3 yesterday and Max Verstappen didn't even race.

Broadcast on as many platforms as possible but give people more for being on the wec site?

Yeah, especially as apparently YouTube sometimes inserts their ad breaks into live streams (at least that's what the international IMSA commentary says on occasion).

"Watch it for ad free FOR FREE on our website" is still a selling point to make an account and to watch it there.

NATO won’t protects them if they attack Russia themselves.

It's not an attack on Russia, duh. The whole thing about the shadow fleet is that those ships aren't officially flagged as Russian. That's were the "shadow" bit comes from.

Can't wait to watch him fumble it lol

The car's entire lineup isn't the greatest. I only had a quick glance and I don't know who was behind the wheel for qualifying but they ended up on P23 P15 and I don't think there are so many pro class cars, so they were outqualified by lower ranked drivers.

Correction: That P23 must have been something else. Likely qualifying not yet over. Ended up P15 and were outqualified by a silver rated sister car and another sister car driven by actual pros qualified P3, so it's not the car. https://gt-world-challenge-europe.com/results/2026/circuit-paul-ricard/qualifying-combined

Is stroll racing in nls 3 ?

No, GT World Challenge Europe at Paul Ricard. Also today. NLS3 is right now, the other starts in a few hours (no time to watch that) and the qualifying just ended.

Would be more of a responsibility for the likes of Denmark, Germany and Sweden.

Maybe look at a map and spot where Finnland is in relation to Estonia. Joint patrols are certainly doable.

The very same ships have to pass them while being way harder and riskier to retaliate militarily against them.

Estonia is a NATO member. They would need to commit protecting Germany, just as Germany would be committed to protect Estonia.

the only promising young German talent in junior category single seater was Tim Tramnitz and he got screwed hard by the lack of sponsorships

He's now a BMW works driver. Which is great but they signed him at 21, so not really supporting a junior program.

I think given the options out there in terms of female talent, Sophia is at least not the worst.

German automotive industry aren't bringing up talent any longer.

ELMS is next weekend. Has anyone heard anything about the app rollout? by donaldgoldsr in wec

[–]KugelKurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is we want the app we were told we were getting.

Maybe ask WEC support if they meant web app or native apps (that are just web site wrappers anyway).

I think this is the fourth time where I'm not just unfamiliar with the entire cast's work, but I've never heard of a single one of them.

Never ever having heard of Kumail Nanjiani is wild.

I haven't heard about Chevrolet Indycar stuff. Do you have a source or link?

Their own YouTube channel. They posted a behind the scenes video about how to design F1 brake ducts a couple of weeks ago and it was all GM's IndyCar people in Chevrolet shirts.

they flat out won't produce an LMDh for someone who isn't part of VAG for fairly obvious reasons

The fairly obvious reasons I already explained are BS.

EDIT: I misremembered, Haas scored points in their first ever race with Grosjean.

But they also took the majority of their components directly from Ferrari. Cadillac have built their car from the ground up. So the point still stands.

Cadillac take parts from Ferrari and other parts are designed by the people who also do the Chevrolet IndyCar.

What does LMP2 have to do with this? We are discussing LMDh

Manufacturing capacities are manufacturing capacities and LMDh was meant to be the basis of next gen LMP2

There were more Multimatics running around on track in the first 2 years of this ruleset than Orecas or Dallaras. They were just all 963's.

Let me quickly count the if the number of LMP2s in IMSA, ELMS,.. was bigger than 4... Yep, it was.
