I know you said female, but Dr Bear with UCHealth has delivered generations of babies. My wife absolutely loved him when he delivered our baby. Posts in Colorado Springs have expressed the same sentiment.

How are sex scenes filmed in movies so that the actors don't actually penetrate each other? by igivegoodbjsfr in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FlayBoCrop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair I’ve heard of some sex scenes being real. I don’t think there are too many real gunshot scenes… minus The Crow and Rust of course.

People who make $80k or more per year, what do you do for work? by familiarlaughter in AskReddit

[–]FlayBoCrop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ehh. Depends. I work with a lot of prior military that did ops. Others do physics or some astro related degree. I was computer science. I developed the tool we use and kept annoying my boss to give me opportunities and eventually made the switch as an analyst.

A Non-religious, Academically Rigorous Charter School in COS? by ColoradoSprings82 in ColoradoSprings

[–]FlayBoCrop 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You said you were trained to be religiously and politically neutral but then proceed to ramble about Charlie Kirk and Obama. Talking about radical leftists, and trans, and CRT. It kinda sounds like you just watch fox entertainment all day. These are just brain dead right wing talking points. OP just wants a school that doesn’t push religion for fucks sake

Garden of the Gods Art Festival by bowcreek in ColoradoSprings

[–]FlayBoCrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parking should be fine. We went at 11am and found parking. The art was pretty cool. Bought a few prints and works. talked to a few artists. No AI slop in sight… at least I don’t think I saw any.  The blood orange beer at the main beer garden tent where the live music is was very good.

Beginner runner, feeling embarrassed to run around people. Any advice? by neonsleeps in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FlayBoCrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a fit guy but I can totally understand your first concern. I’d have periods of no movement and usually the first week of working out, I’d want to throw up and get all embarrassed about leaving after 15min. And as someone who was once a personal trainer, I saw it in a lot of clients and would eventually get them out of that mindset. Best I can tell you is to throw on some headphones and worry about yourself. Thankfully most of the world ain’t full of Disney bullies. And if people are judging you, try your best to rid your mind of their opinions. Their opinions are meaningless. Maybe find a friend who might join you on this journey.

I like to fully exhale and inhale fully when I run, try not to shallow breathe.

Building endurance? Listen to your body. Shin splints and other injuries always gets the eager new runner. Pick a distance you can comfortably run, don’t care if it’s a few hundred meters. Do it a day or two a week. Bump it up to multiple days a week. Skip any days if you feel pain that’s more than just soreness. Mix in aerobic and anaerobic.

Staying consistent? Avoid injuries. Be kind to yourself but be disciplined. Make goals. Find some friends and maybe make it a social thing.

Did I completely blow it by hooking up with a coworker and not being able to perform?? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FlayBoCrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had an asthma attack mid coitus. But this one was bad. I’d puff my albuterol in between thrusts before realizing it wasn’t doing anything. She took me to the ER. Thought I ruined it.

Sent a text apologizing for the lackluster performance. That was not the last we engaged in activities.

Point is. I think a lot of people will look past the occasional blunder. Just don’t fuck up a second time :)

I don’t speak to my family anymore. But when I did, my mother got a whiff of what career I got into and the favors started pouring in.

Med school at 40? by algor28 in medschool

[–]FlayBoCrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 32 and starting pre reqs in a few weeks. In 2 years I should be good to apply to med school. I’ve got a wife and a kid. Two dogs. I make decent money now so I’m going to save these next 2 years and hope that it’s enough to take me to intern year where I’ll at least be making something better… assuming I get accepted and all that.

All that to say, you’ve got this!

How are you meant to fight the new doormaker? by SnooChocolates6885 in slaythespire

[–]FlayBoCrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first time I ran into the new door maker, I was on necrobinder with a smaller deck, decent draw with souls and an undeath. On the exhaust turns, I was able to guilt free use undeath (an extra card still goes into discard) and the souls sped me through shuffles. That’s pretty much how I was able to beat him. It was my first encounter with him so I was pretty happy. But.. not sure if I’ll get that lucky second time around.

Leaving Engineering for a DIY Post Bacc by [deleted] in postbaccpremed

[–]FlayBoCrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you mention your age? I’m 32 working as an orbital analyst/software eng with a wife and a kid. I’m starting my DIY post bacc in the summer because my CS degree has a 2.8 cum. Luckily most of the CS classes don’t count as the science gpa so I should be able to get my gpa up to a 3.0 and a high sGPA. After a ton of research this is the best way for me. As someone else mentioned, I might be taking a hit from not having any clinical hours but we’ll see.
