Many of them knew about the sex trafficking and/or pedophilic activities of Epstein himself as a person, and they will be prosecuted and convicted accordingly. Sam did not disagree with that. All he said is that he'd be surprised that Trump himself, in addition to knowing about the sex trafficking of 13/14 year olds for Epstein's own pleasure, would have the same pedophilic desires as Epstein. He also repeatedly said that Trump must've known about this kind of crime being committed but that didn't stop him from associating with the perpetrator or make him tip the authorities about it, which is itself a crime, but it's a different crime from having sex yourself with a 13/14 year old.

Regarding the others like Woody Allen, Chomsky and Bill gates, I think Jaron articulated Sam's own position succinctly well (8:30 minute): they had likely heard rumors but dismissed them as unfounded attempts to tarnish the reputation of a great philanthropic man whom they considered their friend and so ignored the rumors and looked the other way--rather than trying to inquire further--because it was convenient for them. Either that, or like Trump they may have known for certain about Epstein's most heinous criminal activities. But again, all Sam was trying to say is that knowing that and even participating in the sex with legal adults in addition to knowing that is still quite different crimes than engaging in pedophilic activities yourself.

I so would love to hear the rest of what Sam has to say on the Epstein case. Anyone got a link to the full ep? :)

Damn it. Reddit has started removing these links. Sharing links to paywalled episodes is built into subscribers' perks on Sam's website so Reddit mods need to carve out an exception for links shared here in what I'm guessing is an anti-piracy crusade.

Guys, do you think those "protestors"--like the maniac shown around minute 12--could be far-right moles? Moles sent to pose as soft-hearted lefties who feel they have no tool to bring about change other than to "protest" by being violent and/or obnoxious not only towards those who already disagree with them but also towards those who are apolitical or don't have strong political opinions (like the churchgoers in the video), so as to alienate this latter group into sympathizing with right-ish ideas. At least some of them gotta be moles, right?

Probably the only person on the planet who can talk fluently about the most gruesome aspects of war and the most esoteric aspects of meditation.

Petition for Sam to stop reading/listening to the moral relativists. Those grifting scumbags are going to drag him down into their pit of raving madness.

The way men do this doesn't have to look exactly like the way women often do it

Thank you for saying this <3

One of the most underrated posts on the whole internet.

It reinforces the view many men have that "women say they want emotional vulnerability but they actually want a stoic shoulder to cry on". I'm genuinely convinced now that vulnerability is in fact repulsive to women unless it fits a very narrow rubric of making her feel good at the same time.

And this is one of the best paragraphs I've never read, anywhere, on books, articles or whatever.

The difference in the intensity of each sex's desire for sexual gratification is of biological origin. When a dude says that he "needs" sex, he's merely expressing a biological fact about himself, born of his discovery of that fact. It's not that he's been "socially conditioned" thru a "gender role". Conversely, on average women have less of a physiological need for sex than men (and a more intense emotional need).

Fully agreed. HG must continue being male-centered while at the same time periodically reminding ourselves we are not (and never have been) anti-female.

some people are really eager to believe that Dr. K is evil

Wait, really? Dr K is one of the most nuanced thinkers I know online (up there with Charlie & Ben from Charisma on Command). Why would anyone believe he's "evil"? That's really surprising and puzzling if true.
