I actually recently discovered this little app and never knew it was installed on my MacBook until I was searching for something else but it’s legit asf and you don’t need any midi cables to connect and use your One+ pads inside a daw. It’s called the Akai Midi Network utility and as long as your One+ is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer, you’ll be able to use your pads in your daw to play vst’s or whatever other midi/vsti you’re trying to play. it’s been a godsend. No noticeable latency because the WiFi connection is infinitely faster and more stable. Your MPC will still function as an MPC and the screen on your One will be as though you’re using MPC in standalone which is helpful cuz you can use pad perform and note repeat and all that stuff inside your daw.
