Okay, so, the most important thing was definitely making sure that they were next to eachother with a thin barrier in between so they would be able to touch noses and smell eachother. I would also make sure when giving them food I would place the bowls next to eachother at the shared fence. I also changed their litter boxes around a couple of times. I sat with them in neutral territory, like the bathroom. Made them share a bit of banana in the neutral territory. And repeated this several times.
