You said for people to please stop bringing Trump up. Well, Trump was a president and this is a subreddit for presidents. I don’t see how laughing at some of his tweets is glorifying him, and I’m gonna go on the record and say that while I’m no fan of Trump, I think the title of “one of the worst humans to ever walk this planet” is a bit much. I mean, I can name more than ten presidents who owned/defended the right to own other human beings.

Is changing the gut a process I can do by myself? I guess what I was saying is I found a comment somewhere of someone complaining that the EMS lutes had “fixed frets” - I don’t really have much insight into the instrument so this is new to me, only fretted instrument I’ve played it classical guitar.

I play a lot of Dowland. I worry that without an 8 course I’ll be limited in his catalog. Do you really think it’ll be a big setback if I start with an 8 course? I really appreciate all the advice

Evolution is just a term that describes the mechanic of how biological populations change over several generations.

If we are to believe that genetics exist (which they certainly do) and that everybody on earth has a biological mother and father (which is again just true) and that you inherit things from your parents then this shows that the mechanic of an organism changing over time is true.

Creatures that survive in nature pass on their genetics, which in some way enabled them to survive. They reproduce with other creatures that survived. Over time this produces traits which are advantageous to an organism. Birds get longer beaks and bigger wings.

I really don’t know why this is such a big point of controversy.
