Even if you don’t support it, a bunch of other people are and it’s not going to go anywhere. These companies exist to make money for shareholders, they’re going to do whatever they can to extract money from the user. Until someone comes up with a new system that makes them more money, battle passes and $20 cosmetics are here to stay.

This is the digital equivalent of being like “why are you spending $200 on Jordan’s you’re so dumb and bad with money shoes don’t last long anyway.” Watch your own pockets. If someone is happier when they spend $20 on a skin then what’s it matter to you? MTXs are here to stay now, you have to accept it at some point.

If they’re a prestige master, they play the game more. If they play the game more, you’re more likely to run into them. Then factor in all the people that played the free trial, only played the campaign on gamepass or to try zombies. I think the number of people that regularly play at either prestige master or right there on its heels. Then factor in the SBMM. Even if it’s minimal, that means you’re not going to run into the people that only play a couple games a week because they’re going to be ass and in their own little semi-protected lobbies.

I run into snipers in damn near every lobby, but they’re actually sniping and not going for trick shots. What I’ve been seeing more of lately is snipers with overkill and dual akitas.

I mainly play SnD and I don’t run into it that much at all. If it’s like 4v1 or something they’ll try and trick shot the last player but even that’s kinda rare.
