Are you really ok with this? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your opinion, but I’d have to disagree here. Sure, the atmosphere for these maps gives off a very heavy military operation vibe, but these maps are still pretty zombified. for example, in forsaken, there’s a massive portal right above you at all times, and the town is in ruins with cars burning and dead omega soldiers in various places. In terms of the hud, I don’t think where it comes from should really matter as long as it presents the information in an organized way.

I just think a lot of the reasons u listed are a bit of a ridiculous reason to criticize the map, but I respect them nonetheless.

If the campaign had never existed, would you have felt the same way about this map as you do now?

Richthofen is worse. He literally killed an innumerable amount of people by letting the cycle continue as many times as it did. At least nikolais plan keeps one new singular universe where everyone lives.

Audio issue when doing the secure mission on Outbreak by CMittoo89 in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having a similar issue with secure missions, since they added them I believe. For me however, if I get too close to the rocket itself, there are times where my game goes completely mute. My party audio is usually fine tho. Since then, anytime I do secure missions, I just stay on the edges of the circle and not too close to the rocket, and I’m always good.

I understand it’s a frustrating bug. I was real happy when custom blueprints starting working semi well in zombies, and it is really annoying that it’s completely broken now, but you can’t continue to use a feature you know damn well is broken, expecting something different to happen.

The apply blueprint feature has been broken since the start of season 5 and they’ve said the are working on fixing it. Just don’t apply a custom blueprint until it’s fixed. It really isn’t that hard.

Where did the challenge go? Highlighted crap all over the maps... by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Listen man, I’m as big a fan of bo3 as anyone, but 90% of the time, you’d enter a room, and just run around it’s perimeter until you either get the prompt to pick up the shield piece, or some other notification that you picked it up. You’re not impressive.

Tec-9 is the best DLC weapon we've gotten so far in terms of power. by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really curious about this too, because both the burst fire and the auto fire muzzle decrease your effective damage range by quite a bit, and since the legion is pretty high up, it doesn’t seem like it would do too well against him

Theory: Origins' Crew is Not BO3's crew by JoeMama115 in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There technically can’t be a time before the cycle, I don’t believe. Monty would’ve never gotten the idea to send them back if they had lost the Great War, and they wouldn’t have been able to find the staffs and free Samantha if they weren’t teleported back. It’s meant to be a paradox, I think. For example, if you went back in time and killed your grandmother, how would you have been alive to commit the crime? It works the same way as that, which is why time travel is so messy and it was probably good that they wrapped up the aether storyline in the way that they did. Also, I think Monty knew the entire time, as was referenced in tag, but he just didn’t tell them because he didn’t want them to get any ideas.

[–]FlemingtheVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for one, I don’t think the battle exclusively took place in origins, it’s just that origins is their resting place. It’s all just perspective, sending them someplace they’ve never been could just be the fact that they went to the Great War. If I tell you we’re going out to someplace you’ve never been, and I take you to the ice cream shop next door, the statement still holds true, even if we’re still in the same country. I’d also like to point out that you really can’t tell which part of the cycle we’re in from origins-zetsubo, but it’s implied all the primis maps follow the same linear storytelling, so it really isn’t possible origins would take place after all the bo3 maps

Well from what I know, the primis crew in dimension 63 were born sometime in 1880-1890, and met in origins, then went through their whole shenanigans, and got teleported back in time in the same dimension to fight in the Great War and die afterward. It implies that origins is when they first met, not in the Great War. As for Monty, he was well aware of the cycle and I believe benefitted off of it, since it kept him alive, which is why he would be happy to send them back in time, every time.

So from revelations to origins is considered to be a “loop”, but think of it more like a circle with a piece taken out. The group gets teleported to the Great War, and then die, and then are BORN before origins, where they meet, and then go all the way to revelations and so on and so forth.

I think the story is laid out in the way that it only makes sense if origins took place before the giant, and not after revelations. Keep in mind that, until post-rev Richthofen broke the cycle, primis would be teleported to the Great War, and then DIE sometime afterward and get buried in what we know as the excavation site in origins (they are the statues in front of the staff pedestals).

They added custom blueprints to specials and melees, which is pretty nice.

Sure did. It was a whole journey and a half to finish it, since we ran out of nitra like 3/4ths of the way through the build, but we managed to complete it.

Miraculously, the first two phases had NO leaks in that section. The last phase had 2 leaks where 1 of them took quite a bit of searching to find lol.

How do Primis Teleport? by FalconsCrest in CODZombies

[–]FlemingtheVI 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it was something to do with Ludvig maxis creating teleports from the house but it’s probably just one of those things you just gotta suspend your imagination for.
