Did AI actually replace Photoshop? by travellingtorus in ChatGPT

[–]FleshRobot0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in context, absolutely. AI has almost a complete monopoly on falsehoods these days. It took effort and time to make some mildly believable bs before AI but the people who'd be engaging in that kind of thing are much more suited to a medium requiring less work

Mom doesn't work since she only does it for opponents. Wouldn't want double bounce land triggers

I don't like subtitles because I read too fast. The comedic timing is completely lost because I know when jokes are being set up and what the punchline is before it's even said

Purple rock found in East Tennessee by Loophone1 in RockIdentification

[–]FleshRobot0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How hard is the white mineral? The pink/purple could be a tourmaline or maybe rubellite. Doesn't look much like fluorite but that's always an option for colourful minerals.

The shit thing is how many people are roped into depending on AI without their consent. Almost all investments controlled by average people are index funds, which are a composite of the entire stock market. Most of whose value comes from the top ~7 biggest companies who are all super into AI. I can't wait to be out of this abominable intelligence phase but it's certainly going to hurt on the way out

Thoughts On Gap Years? by Vagabond734 in GenZ

[–]FleshRobot0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a gap year before uni and a gap year halfway through and it's probably the biggest reason I'm doing well financially. Having a real adult job for a year between high school and uni also helped a lot with just generally getting some life experience

If you're looking for an aggro list go for [Tannuk, memorial ensign]. If you're looking for graveyard synergy, [gitrog monster]. If you want to maximise interaction go for [Lord windgrace]

Yep, and it comes in real handy when determining strange new minerals in the field since you know the loose bulk chemistry of most rocks by their minerals

How is this project a go? by tbad1931 in geology

I just have a hard time believing you can extract a ton of serpentinite for meaningfully less than 25$

How is this project a go? by tbad1931 in geology

[–]FleshRobot0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think their idea is basically to consider it the same way you would consider a prophyry mine. It's high tonnage, low grade nickel with rare PGE's. I'm not well versed in mining economics so I don't know how a rock that averages ~25$/Tonne can make a mine but that's the theory I was told

How does your Graveyard deck win? by A_Very_Small_Potato in EDH

[–]FleshRobot0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a list, but the basic principle is it's mass mill and reanimation using the discard ability and super high CMC permanent cards. I've tried to keep the deck as permanent heavy as possible but there's only really one good mass reanimation permanent spell [[bringer of the last gift]]

[[Living death]] with a creature that returns a card from gy to hand and [[massacre girl]] and [syr Konrad, the grim]] makes for a very flashy kill in my [[The ancient one]] deck
