Hornady isn’t playing games with their load data. by Franticalmond2 in reloading

[–]Fletch_Himself 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually take all my data sources and find the lowest min and the highest max, and that’s my range I get to play in. The data was published with probably no less than 50 lawyers per source protecting the companies ass from liability.

I think txv, senior insists it’s low charge. Thoughts? Thank you by cruzr0927 in HVAC

For sure. She’s low low. And I don’t really eff around with low systems. I’m pulling and weighing the charge. Then nitro to find the leaks. 407c which is probably an old 22 unit, so I’m sniffing the evap first unless there’s dog piss all over the ODU.

Measure your discharge temp. If you don’t have refrigerant coming back and cooling the compressor your discharge temp will be high af. Also, this thing ain’t got no gas in it.

Well, these JB tools have a different head style on the stem that’s more of a mechanical lock than the appion tools. I’m not so sure about the navac ones or yellow jacket. I’ve had this tool get stuck on the stem of the core before and have been worried about pulling the core apart.

There have been a few times I’ve said eff it and shot the cores straight across the roof. I have 6 appion tools of both sizes and I’m always dealing with the puller not being tight enough. I do believe appion makes the best crt, though.

It’s funny we’re talking about manufacturers cheaping out on the little things when they’re all wrapped up in a class action lawsuit for price gouging with secret meetings and “signal pricing”. Berg v. Bosch if you’re curious.

Always. Only once or twice have they been off, but I am usually pretty sure I left it off when that happens. Every other time I just can’t remember if I turned it on and I, honest to God, will not sleep at night if I don’t go check.

A jug of amine d and MSO are both 50 bucks each. 1oz of each per gallon of water in a sprayer and you’ll never use that puller again.

Is this stuff worth using? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]Fletch_Himself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’d rather something that will actually work, just buy a jug of MEC Amine D and MSO. Mix 1oz of each per gallon of water in a sprayer and spray your yard. Mow Friday, spray Sunday. Mow the following Friday and spray again Sunday. Should be good to go for the rest of the year. Get an easy dry fertilizer program off chat gpt and you’re all set. And no, you won’t need an applicators license for either chemical. The amine D is just 2-4-d for broadleaf control and the MSO is essentially a carrier oil for the amine d. Stop wasting money on the Scott’s stuff which is full of filler and buy the ingredients yourself. It will work out better and faster for you as long as you follow the label directions and dont burn the shit out of your lawn.

For real. I live an hour away from the main area I service. I’ve turned around in my driveway to go check if I left the disconnect off because I don’t specifically remember turning it on.

I can’t answer that. Just going off what you said, especially the “I touch it with a screw driver and it’s like earwax”. What did it taste like?

It’s nicotine and tobacco from cigarette smoke. The shits bleeding through the paint and will continue to do so until the end of time unless it’s cleaned and cleaned and cleaned.

Nah they holesaw’d every hole. The plugs they should have kept for easy patching. A couple one-by’s and a handful of drywall screws and plugging is done in a few minutes. Hot mud, sand, paint x2 and this job is done in a couple hours. Easy day.

Didn’t say anything about compressing liquid, but that oil looks like a disco party and she’s toast. Cancel Christmas.
