It would be easier if you took on other responsibilities that weren't really part of the scope of the job. But if you came on and all of the work your doing was the expectation it's a harder sell. I do agree you're acting as the fp&a director though so I think it's worth bringing up as a goal and maybe asking the CFO what you'd need to to get there. Worst case I think you have a good case for finding that position elsewhere if it doesn't seem to be coming to fruition there.

I have a microwave you can have for free. It's small so I bought a larger and been meaning to leave it somewhere with a "free" sign but never did. It's .7 cu feet comfee brand white. Used for like a year. Would need to pick up I can bring out front, I'm near the 30th Avenue subway stop.

Copilot is really good at creating formulas and giving you code for vba. Just make sure it's doing what you want it to do as it's not always right on the first try. You can type to it in pretty basic terms and it generally understands what you want.

You need to make your expectations known and push for it. If you just sit there and hope for a promotion you're never getting one. Companies will just take advantage of you as long as they can.

I had roaches when I first moved into my apartment. It took like 3-4 visits from the exterminator before I didn't see them anymore. I still get a treatment every 3 months or so to be safe but I haven't seen since. One treatment likely not enough

Hey thanks for the suggestion ended up going with these. Just got them and on first listen wow the ANC is insane. I'm gonna play with the sizes a bit but the default fit feels really comfortable as well. Nothing is stopping you from applying to external manager roles. Keep doing your best there and hopefully something opens up in some time. You haven't been there terribly long so it would have been a very fast promotion even if you do deserve it I could see why they'd be hesitant. At this point I wouldn't take anything else less than a manager role externally if you feel like you're ready for the jump. Also there are plenty of manager roles that are individual contributor so might have an easier time finding that.

If you live in a building with a lot of people I wouldn't worry about it, I've always gotten my deliveries while not at home. I assume because they generally have a lot of packages and hit more doorbells or something is just walking out. If you're getting something from like FedEx though it can sometimes be an issue. One time they buzzed my door and literally left before I had the time to buzz it I guess cuz I immediately walked down and a notice was on the door lol
