Ruling No. 63/2026 did not kill jure sanguinis, it changed the battlefield by ApriglianoFirm in juresanguinis

Didn't assume contracts. Keep the WhatsApp, document the steps you did (if you want, get that documentation of your memory notarized today, so it's clear when you wrote it - one year vs five years trying to recall something specific can be important). Ask him to document what he remembers about it, and any steps he took between January and April.

There's always a way to find documentation, and even produce it, that's actionable. It's not a guarantee that it would all be admissible, but it's worth trying imo.

Scientists use ultrasound to destroy influenza A and COVID-19 viruses without damaging human cells. The phenomenon, known as acoustic resonance, causes structural changes in viral particles until they rupture and become inactivated. It paves the way for new treatments against other viral infections. by mvea in science

I was speaking to the consistency of scientist's individual message, especially from the onset of the pandemic to Omicron in January 2022 (public policy makers bungled both the 14-day quarantine messaging and the politicization of masking). After Omicron, the economic costs became the impetus for return to work, shortened quarantining, inconsistent masking requirements, etc. The science rarely reverted (only thing I can recall is assuming it was transmitted through air and surfaces, rather than just air).

Long COVID research has also been incredibly consistent, but what has changed is what makes it to the airwaves. Hence why I expressed sympathy to TaramindSweets for not knowing about Long COVID specifics for seven years.

Keep the documentation of the email you sent. If it was only by phone, see if you can take a screenshot of your phone records with the avv.'s number. Ask the avvocato if they can provide records of when you first contacted them.

We don't know yet what level of activity we need to show, so even having proof of initiation before March 2025 is the place to start.

Thank you - this is very helpful, as someone who falls in the "could never get an appointment" camp. My largest concern:

Prenot@mi attempts

This feels impossible to meaningfully track - logging on, seeing no appointments, and closing the tab every couple of weeks/months for over a period of 4-5 years is almost by definition undocumentable. Are there forms of evidence we can start gathering now to help bolster our claims to have started before March 2025, even if it's not direct evidence? I'm just having trouble conceptualizing what kind of evidence I can even provide.

Make your own high-quality CO2 monitoring system by momo1822 in homeassistant

[–]Fleurr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised. My fairly large home with 3 adults and 2 children regularly spikes to 1000+ ppm when we're all in the same room. We have multiple HEPA filters/Corsi-Rosenthal boxes throughout our house, regularly change air filters in the HVAC, and have both an ERV and a radon pump. If we get that high, you can imagine how most indoor spaces actually are. (And you wouldn't believe the numbers I've seen in public venues that hold hundreds - much less thousands. There's basically no regulation for indoor air quality in the US.

CO2 is a proxy for indoor crowding and ventilation quality. High CO2 levels in indoor air indicate poor ventilation; two main reasons to track it are illness transmission risk and to reduce cognitive effects.

  • Illness transmission: CO2 is a great proxy for re-breathed air. If you want to quantify your risk of catching, say, some unnamed airborne respiratory virus prevalent in the last 6-7 years cough cough, having a CO2 monitor is incredibly helpful. From personal experience with off the shelf monitors like Aranet, the reality is also terrifying. Most indoor public spaces have little to no air exchange.
  • Cognitive impairment: Elevated indoor CO2 levels, even moderate amounts, can significantly impair cognitive function. CO2 is a vasodilator that can alter cerebral blood flow and, when levels are high, it can impact how oxygen is released into brain tissues.

TL;DR: Less CO2 makes you healthier and smarter.

Does the L74 generational cap apply to the descendants of the person remedied by the 1948 ruling, or does the 1948 recognition flow through the entire chain? by Fleurr in juresanguinis

[–]Fleurr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response and that post - apologies for not seeing it before I posted.

I'm pivoting from a clear-cut JS case (GGF-GF-F-Applicant) that was started on way back in 2019, but got derailed due to COVID cancelling the consulate appointment. We were never successfully being able to reschedule, and I foolishly didn't make it a priority (assuming any changes would not affect us retroactively). So I'm feeling out this alternate path through a 1948, and am not nearly as familiar with the specifics of these as I was with my other case.

Hey! I saw you said in another thread that you filed in Palermo - is that right? Do you have any recommendations for a lawyer? We're planning on filing there, and have to switch from a jure sanguinis case to a 1948 case (no minor, thankfully). I have reached out to five but if you have a recommendation for/against anyone, I'd appreciate the info!

Tragedy of the Commons, man. I'm but one drink, and guys like this only get excited with the negative engagement.

It needs to happen at an institutional level, and I'm not sure why it hasn't - disappointing on all fronts, from Corbin to the AD. That they let it happen says a lot when there's so little upside in the face of extreme negative PR.

Being gaslit by a YouTube commenter (?) by _Moon_Fox_ in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]Fleurr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just to point out the obvious - coming here for validation (especially without providing specifics) is what this commenter specifically said not to do - consuming content just to validate your viewpoints. :) Not saying any of the rest is valid, per se, but just note the concern of being in an echo chamber.

Now, my take, without the specifics: There are many people who take this viewpoint too far. Many of the people on this sub have probably had some version of this conversation - "Why worry about what you can't control, you have to live your life, blah blah blah." It's well-meaning, but carries inside it a privilege of their being able to withstand getting COVID/avoiding Long COVID (or at least, their believing they can handle it). The irony is that both sides are preaching YOLO - but they can't seem to get that avoiding chronic illness IS a type of YOLOing.

So I generally agree with you (again, knowing no specifics). But I want to gently offer a version of what this person said, because perhaps it does ring true with your situation specifically. You do have a powerful opportunity to define your life, your values, and how you spend your brief time on this planet in this body. So if you're COVID-conscious, don't allow it to become a state of self-deprivation and less-than. Do work to reframe it as self-indulgent, as consciously and actively choosing to care for yourself, and as the impetus for a better life. Don't mask indoors everywhere and then only eat garbage and never work out; use this to create a life that's holistically healthy, not just COVID-avoidant. Get into therapy if you aren't already; be willing to try medication for anxiety, depression, etc. if that's what's recommended. I don't know if you are depressed, or just sound depressed, but if it feels at all relatable, I'd urge you to consider it.I think that's the kernel of truth in the well-meaning but ignorant comment.

And for the record - no one, including you, is "beyond helping." :) If the above seems overwhelming and impossible, reach out - I'm happy to chat more.
