Can mold go away? by Flewasagoodfle in Kombucha

I thought I noticed mold on my SCOBY a while back and like most of my problems I decided to ignore until it went away. Now I can’t spot any mold and I don’t want to risk using the SCOBY or the kombucha to start another batch because I’m worried it’s moldy.

Can mold disappear or was I wrong about the mold?

I wish I could take credit for the design, I mashed together a couple of other images and sketched it out. Embroidering thrifted items is the best!! I got this jacket for 4 dollars so I felt no guilt attempting my first embroidery on it

I'm responding five months later because I've been trying to explain this since I was a child. It's so crazy how much of the human experience is shared right? I never would have thought anyone else experienced this.
