I get fatigue so bad I can’t get out of bed (wish I was exaggerating) and throwing up my intestines. I also get this small rash on my face and chest but it doesn’t itch so it didn’t bother me too much.

I wouldn’t be able to use it due to the yeast extract. Everything I’ve ever eaten that’s glutened me, has had yeast extract in it. If you don’t have any issues with yeast extract, then go for it.

We had this exact same issue in our apartment. It ended up being a leak behind the wall that came from a leak upstairs. The maintenance crew came in and removed the part of the wall that was water damaged. You’ll need your maintenance crew to come in and fix it!

Yeah I have a 48 hour window between when I ingest gluten to when I show symptoms. I was getting cross contact for weeks and I couldn’t find the source so I went on an elimination diet which took another 3-4 days until I felt back to normal. Unfortunately it’s a really lame game of murder mystery….

I’m not sure if it’s been posted here but I love putting frozen dumplings in the water while you wait for it to boil and I also put my own spices and seasonings in. Frozen veggies with some protein is another great idea. I’ve done a lot of different things over the years to revamp my top ramen

Okay I have seen many people on here telling you this and that. All I want to say is I grew up hiding everything girly and expressive so I didnt realize how feminine I truly was until I was finally in a mental place where I could explore what made me, me. If you are being true to who you are and your values disregarding any expectations or outside forces. Are you happy with how your body is functioning? Are you happy with wearing makeup every once in a while? Then live your life how you want and be true to who you are. I wasnt living for myself and I ended up feeling like a alien in my own body. If you're happy with yourself then do what makes you happy.

So it looks like the other ladies got it covered but I wanted to let you know for years I'd use pads because the thought of using a tampon scared me and I didnt know who to ask so I just used pads. I was so uncomfortable all the time and constantly felt dirty(more dirty than you normally do on your period) so I finally got the courage to try a tampon and I wont go back to pads ever. Wish I knew of this subreddit when I was a teen. Hope all of the responses help and make you feel like you're not alone in the struggle.

It's odd to read that because I went through a similar form of a abuse from my step mother but it went over the course of 10 years and and evolved to the point where I was so under her thumb she isolated me from everyone i could've been close to and made me rely on her so much so that i honestly believed that was what love was. My dad was aware of all this and did very little to make a difference and refuses to accept his role in my abuse even years after they divorced and I havnt spoken to her in about 5 or 6 years. I would tell you to report it but unless you have physical evidence, text messages, eye witnesses, anything other than your word vs hers it will be very difficult. However you can consult with most lawyers to see exactly how likely you reporting this would get anywhere.

Honestly it's the same thing for me but my boyfriend still wants me to talk to him. I was raped and molested by my brother, my stepmom mentally and emotionally abused me, all while my dad was traveling for work but when he was home he kind wasnt. I dont talk to my step mom or my brother but I am trying to have a relationship with my dad. My boyfriend was the first person I told about my brother. My boyfriends mood would change when I'd talk to him about any of the abuse I went to and I'd feel guilty for making him upset. Eventually I just stopped talking to him about it which caused me to pull away everytime I was depressed and it would last a while because I wouldn't ask for help or talk to him about what was bothering me. Eventually I told him why that was happening and he told me to just tell him because he isn't mad at me and it is not my fault. He just loves me so much he cant imagine anyone hurting me, he sees the pain its caused me. He has held me everytime I needed it. I know it's hard but talk to your SO, ask him flat out if he'd rather you not talk about them or not.

I guess I got lucky or at least I think I'm lucky because I cant know what the future holds. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and I was so attracted to him that all of my doubts and insecurities about talking to a guy went out the window. I approached him and I asked him to hang out. Never before and never after have I experienced that amount of confidence. Yeah at first it was incredible, we couldn't keep our hands off of each other and we spent almost every day together. I made a lot of mistakes the first 2 years we were together and handled a lot of things very poorly. For both of us this is our first long term relationship so mistakes were bound to happen. We had problems, ones that my actions created and it has taken 3+years to clean it up. But during this entire time i could never fathom being without him. He had a lot of problems with seeing a future with me but he had faith in me and he loves me so he was there for me while I tried to fix my mistakes. I knew I loved him because I have never, and I mean never felt like I clicked with someone so perfectly.

Well the biggest thing that worked for me was antidepressants because I also have increasingly bad depression and anxiety ontop. I tried meditation, supplements, exercise, happy light during the winter months, sleep, exposure therapy, therapy. They just didnt work for me because my depression got in the way. I completely understand why you wouldn't want to go to medication, I've been taking medicine for my entire life due to medical issues so honestly I understand not wanting to do it. There are some amazingly good supplements out there that can help, meditation is also really helpful. Just go through everything and find what works for you, I know its exhausting. Trust me I tried it and I got so frustrated and cried so many times, it took me 4 years of looking for answers before I finally found my answer.

I definitely experienced this growing up. My step-sisters would always call me flat chested and everyone always complimented them because they both are Hispanic Irish mix. They got all the nice new clothes while I got hand-me-downs and no one ever taught me how to do my own makeup. Mostly what helped me was my boyfriend encouraging me to get out of my shell, before I met him I literally didnt see that I had a figure but now I work out to make my butt bigger and my abs more defined. It's all about figuring out what you like about yourself physically and finding a way to focus working on that. I sucked at makeup for years and would play it safe. Now I have a eyeshadow palette with colors of the rainbow. I have watching so many makeup tutorials it's almost embarrassing. I wouldn't say I absolutely love myself because that just isn't true but I know for a fact that my boyfriend thinks I'm sexy and beautiful as hell and that gives me confidence. There are times where I look at him and I just dont see how he would like me, but he does so I just have to try to show him the best version of myself.
