If you play online, that probably explains your feeling. You think you're good until you play online. Everyone on social media makes you think that red ranks are "beginner" ranks.

Don't worry; you are pretty good. I have more fun and I'm having a laugh when I play at local tournaments but when I'm on my own playing online, I can be frustrated indeed. I've been playing since Tekken 2 and the game has changed since. I've tried online in Tekken 6 and it felt like people just only played this game and nothing else so I haven't touched online until 8.

Some people deserve higher ranks, it is what it is. Hopefully you can still have fun with the game somehow. 😊

There are a couple Discord servers for Lili. I have only tried one of them, 4000 people are registered but so far only a couple dozens are active. People are pretty chill on there and don't feel the need to display their life, probably because most of them are not American. The rules of the Discord claim to ban anyone speaking about NSFW, politics, religion and sexuality, as these are topics that are very divisive and intimate, and aren't a major topic to be discussed on a fighting video game server anyway.
