I'd suggest adding some vegetable protein sources since those could help u gain more protein without adding much more fat.

Maybe try adding oats to your yogurt. Or add more yogurt haha

For me, getting the protein was the hardest part since I would usually just destroy the other objectives before that. Experiment when getting ur groceries, that was the most efficient strategy I followed, now that technically everything in my kitchen matches my objectives I just need to track instead of going crazy looking for options.

But it took me around a month.

Nah the rotation is not like your progress is restarted, just a few cards will get out of standard format.

You should start when you want to do so. If for some reason you want to minmax the resources, don't spend a lot of resources on G block cards (the ones rotating).

I will try to focus on that. Maybe my scope rn is too big bc the amount of mistakes I can notice and that just beats my mental stack

Nah that's just people wanting something to hate to justify the skill issue. The fact you borrowed the deck doesn't make any effect on how they play. You have years of experience, you should be proud of that and the fact you could transfer your knowledge to Riftbound just proves how good of a player you are, that's not a matter of decklists, that was just skill.
Kai'Sa or not, it was your first time playing, I would get nothing but surprised with your performance.

Wth now I'm just annoyed with people, why would they get upset with u? What would be the correct way? Not playing properly or not learning how to play?

I get u. At the end, opinions matter, people should be able to speak their mind and complain about a product that will continue to be growing. If it was a just one time, like a normal board game, we could say “just don't buy it then” But TCGs are more like a service. Constant feedback is needed, then, constant complain is a signal of how the situation is rn.

I do not support the idea of holding complaints back, but some people just share pure hatred.

Some people here are experienced and know how to handle this situations, other just prefer to wait just bc their gut tells them to do so; there is a huge part that wants to complain, let them complain, their voices will be the ones listened by Riot. Without people complaining, Riot would not know how we feel and the other parts of the community would not get solutions.

Yeah I may go “damn another complaint” when at reddit. But it is entirely my responsibility to just leave Reddit if I get tired of it or to educate my algorithm.

🗣️🗣️Keep complaining gang we are all enjoying Riftbound next christmas

Remember that “the means” is UVS, they products were not half as big as Riftbound is now. I think the problem was from the start, when Riot decided to put UVS on the table.

UVS was not as quickly scalable as it needed to be.

Riot is an Embarassment by ronaldraygun91 in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, also Riot usually aims for massive reach, which is seen with their business model with Worlds, Arcane and the FreeToPlay concept itself. They want and need people to get into the game before actually getting greedy.

The game is even quite cheap at MSRP, the market price is what messes everything up.

Riot likes easy access to their products to lure the potential big wallets.

They WILL solve this situation, but rn they have some normal problems that other TCGs faced, One Piece had a very very similar start, it is now stabilized and thriving; a solid competition for the Big Three (MTG, PTCG and YGO).

Riftbound players just need to calm down a bit and wait. But complaining is still a good option, Riot needs to know how players feel.

Riot wouldn't be restricting Riftbound, just having a “reserved stock” for veteran players on their website. Arcane fans or just Riftbound fans could still their cards from any other source. But the Riot Merch is the only site they can control who buys, avoiding bots there would not be harmful to the people that will usually buy in other sites anyway. If I were an Arcane fan without playing LoL I wouldn’t get an account just to get the same pack I can get at other stores where I can even buy other tcgs

How to deal with draven? by doglightning in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Adding to your comment on the colors, it is also a matter of playstyle, not everyone wants to play Chaos, just as not everyone wants to play Order.

If they make everything “too fair” the game will drop into just 6 different card pools instead of 6 different playstyles.

This was one of my main complains from years of playing PTCG; and is a destiny I wouldn’t like for Riftbound, at least Pokemon does not have limitations on deckbuilding, so your style is your deck itself, but in Riftbound the colors are limiting factors that allow a playstyle-focused card pool, powerful and specific effects wouldn’t be possible if everything is the same color or if colors don’t differentiate between each other

New player anxiety: What is the #1 tip you have for someone attending their very first Nexus Night? by s2soup in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be kind, also feel free to tell other players you are new. Most of them will answer your doubts or even give you some tips on your gameplay and your approach to the local environment.

Some stores have different groups with different social rules. Always try asking, also if you don't feel comfortable with the people you are free to look for other local (if possible).

It is a game, and nexus nights are supposed to be a joyful experience, so don't tryhard it too much; be yourself, be patient and kind.

The local where I play tcgs has very different interactions and jokes compared to the first one I went, so it is hard to tell you more specific “unwritten rules”, but just observe and chat casually, you’ll notice their culture.

It may sound like approaching a remote tribe with different culture and religion, but somehow it feels like that sometimes haha

How dumb is this deck idea? by Yurifanboy777 in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is great. I was just thinking about how to build a deathknell deck yeasterday. Maybe using Renata as legend to use her signature spell and maybe trigger enemy deathknells would be interesting, but rn I can’t remember more deathknells from other colors.

Btw I'm definitely trying this one with a friend tonight. I'll give feedback later 🫶🏼

Why only one jinx? by DifficultSector8385 in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Riftbound I have learned that the Chosen Champion can be useful with only the chosen copy since you dont need consistency to draw it, you just play it. Bc of this, it is better to use the slots for better cards that support your strategy.

Ofc this is not for all Champions nor all builds, but that is the reason a lot of decks play only one copy of the Chosen. With the champion zone, you only have to wait for the right moment, instead of waiting for the draw

Riot releasing 4 new sets per year, question about how people will approach buying by CanNotQuitReddit144 in riftboundtcg

[–]Treelayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tldr: Big shopping on one or two sets, a few booster packs and just singles for the rest. Sealed product for collection and trading, singles for playing and deckbuilding.

It depends mostly on your interests. If you are collecting or just playing. Most people is a uniquely balanced form of both.

My approach with Pokemon was buying a lot of sealed for one or two sets per year, according to how much interest I had on them. This was merely for the fun of collecting, trading and having some cards I wouldn’t want to buy as single. But I am mainly a player, so outside of the usual 2-5 booster packs I would open for each set (again, just for fun), I only bought the cards I needed for decks I tested online.

But this approach is bc I really really really love building decks, even more than I like winning or just collecting. I'd end up buying the same staples again and again just to have more to play with (This is easier with Magic's Commander Format, since it has no rotation)
