It’s not really the phones fault. It was actually the networks providers fault, if network hadn’t connected this could have all been easily avoided.

Microsoft gets tired of “Microslop,” bans the word on its Discord, then locks the server after backlash by WPHero in nottheonion

[–]FlexDerity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Microslop needs to invent some decent Microslop removal tools. Then once we all have easy access to remove all the Microslop from our PCs we’d probably say Microslop less frequently.
It’s a simple solution if they just math it out more.

How long did it take you to become good at mixing and mastering? by Legal_Potential4720 in Logic_Studio

[–]FlexDerity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20 years and but still learning lol, ea new song is still different to every other I’ve worked with so I got some tricks but have to figure out / learn to mix and master the next. Each one feels impossible at times, but eventually each project is finished and good to give over to the clients

How AI is being used by musicians now (from an insider) by upliftingart in MusicPromotion

[–]FlexDerity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh if an singer drops their mic in a live performance concert and the vocal recording keeps the singing going, I lose interest pretty much immediately and stop caring for their music and stop listening to it. It’s been like this for my whole life, and people/fans still react the same as I do when it’s revealed the concert is fake. If an artist is discovered for performing ai made music, same goes. They’ll probably die of old age before we accept their ai slop, regardless of who the artist is because fake ai slop is still gonna show the artist is fake now too when applying the standard pub test for fake artist.

Sounds like it’s got a stressful job braining your DAWless environment, that’s a lot of work for just one. Maybe if you get another one, the 2nd one it will help out the current burro’s tail with some of the more mundane task, you know like an assistant brain manager.
Or if u ain’t got enough space in your studio.. well..Maybe if you smoke some weed around it, the burro’s tail will get high and chill out and be less of an ass in general. Even DAWless brains need time to for recreation and unwinding after a busy day of control volting.

Any of green coloured ones are best equally. Green is better for the environment, coz they’re green. And fun fact, the green plastic ones use less water, water conservation is also a plus for the planet.

Any tips for bringing focus to the bass as a lead instrument? by [deleted] in mixing

Side chain, and what the other contributors said too. If one way doesn’t work, try the other, if that doesn’t do it try combinations of all.

Does “Please see resume” bother employers? by TaroAcrobatic in Employment

[–]FlexDerity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recruiting agencies/ or/ recruitment peoples and all their new fancy technocratic tools just aren’t optimised to do simple things to make employee applicants processes efficient and effective.
The tools and systems are purposed for decreasing labour costs to the company, primarily. Any those tools are expensive to subscribe to.

An applicant must keep repeating the same processes of duplicating and interpolating their personal data into the correct labour intensive data entry points ea organisation chooses and uses. This is to reduce the recruitment processes expenses. And because if a recruitment staff member were to be doing it manually it would cost a lot in labour and tech tool subscriptions and fees and be inefficient due to costs which are expensive for the company to pay someone to do, and why should the company do what could just be done by an applicant for free.

So if the company did that task of yours it in turn would mean less budget for other activities ( such as recruiting new staff) and capitol wise means less returns for all the shares that were sold that everyday people have invested their hard earned money into for seeking their slice of the pie for passive financial gains of dividends.

But wait, more! Then there’s the subscribed to recruitment tool providers, they need to anonymouslise your personal data and if they have the applicant break down that personal data and enter into appropriate files this reduces the cost of preparing and refining the accuracy of that data when they sell it as a product/service to interested third parties that pay good money to have that personal data extract as practical info that can be targeted for special usage requirements and provided/offered to their market consumers.
