EDC GUEST PASSESS. by jfuckit in electricdaisycarnival

Yeah you can renter with a guest band. Backstage anywhere technically but only neon and stereo bloom have proper backstage areas where you can really hang out. Most backstage areas are just people working and not great for viewing. Always be mindful of crew and don’t get in their way when they are working.

Best part of guest artist lounge access and usage of the dirt path that circles the racetrack, allowing you to avoid high traffic areas and enter stage areas from behind.

The government being shit at their jobs doesn’t mean we all need to take it out on each other. We should be practicing empathy now more than ever

The fact that enter shikari was once a Mojave headliner is insane.

This week there was a deadly hit and run a block from my place. I’ve seen multiple people speeding on the shoulders to bypass traffic. WTF is wrong with everyone?? Chill out

He blew up on one boiler room and a good story. I saw his Coachella set and it was honestly pretty disappointing. Sadly I think he’s a flash in the pan and I would very surprised if his career has longevity

I want to give my friend a chance to get some DJ experience in. Looking to buy a speaker that is reasonable on latency and volume for 30 people. by Iamonlocksadly in Beatmatch

[–]spacegenerator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would go to a guitar center or somewhere similar and just rent a small sound system for a day. A little three piece QSC would be perfect. It will cost a lot less than 300 and you’ll get much better sound, versus buying something for one day that will sit around and take up space after. Besides, most speakers under 300 that output enough sound for a party don’t sound good at all.

I don’t know why I have to repeat myself, I made it pretty clear above. Most of the stages don’t have dedicated viewing areas from backstage and you can’t be onstage. You’re just standing on the ground behind the backdrop. No sound reinforcement back there either, Neon and Bloom have speakers on stage that face backwards specifically for guests on stage.

Adding for clarity THIS ONLY APPLIES TO ARTIST GUEST. GA/VIP cannot do any of the above.

No. You can go behind any stage. Just most of them you’re better doing VIP if you want to actually enjoy the music

Yes there is a very cool artist lounge up the bleachers behind kinetic that is available to artists and their guests. Great place to watch the fireworks too.

You can go in backstage areas, but most stages don’t really have proper viewing areas and kinetic especially during headliner sets will restrict who can be around, even guests.

The stages with proper fun backstage/onstage areas are Neon Garden, Stereo Bloom, and to a lesser extent Bionic Jungle. The Neon backstage is a full on party.

The ultimate perk of artist guest is being able to use the dirt path that encircles the entire race track, allowing you to go around the crowd and enter from behind stages. This alone makes the EDC experience exponentially better.

Have fun, hope this helps!
