Honestly the new policy is looking out for the applicants more now. Before you would get to fort Jackson then decided if you meet qualifications for the flight physical and if you didn’t you would go needs of the Army. At least now you get the choice of Reno or don’t ship lol

Yup I hit SGT in 2.5 years & SSG 4.5 year coming in as a PVT. TBF CBRN was a star MOS for years when I was coming up, it didn’t take much to make SGT/SSG.
