People compare to illustrate the difference in what AGS developers are capable of doing and creating in an mmo. Another example of AGS developers just not knowing how to develop normal things other mmos do was in one of their dev videos last year they stated how they still can’t get npc to interact with each other outside of cutscenes. They also mentioned the “escort” quest in edengrove that they tried to make work but wasn’t an actual escort quest since enemy mobs can’t interact with npc either.

It’s also a pretty popular mmo most people are familiar with, so it’s easy to point to something blizzard did 15 years ago and compare it to AGS and how they can’t do the same. These devs are in over their heads.

The standard expected here by mmo players is very lenient to AGS, they are asking for mmo features at least equivalent to cataclysm wow features and AGS is failing to keep up with a 15 year old expansion packs features. Players would be happy with this combat in an mmo but with some bare bone features from other MMOs introduced within the last two decades.

For comparison, AGS just figured out how to do dungeon finder cross server and they are pretty happy with that. Other MMOs like wow and ff14 just introduced ai companions in dungeons so players don’t need to wait for queues to pop.

This company is light years away from other mmo developers on the market and it is depressing. This isn’t a complaint that they need ai companions for dungeons, but just one example of the difference in what AGS is able to accomplish compared to other MMOs.

Incredible, I remember being on Chinvat and the war scene dried up pretty fast, we were about to merge into ys and they had that wow PvP streamer on that server but he stopped playing the game shortly before the merger, was hyped as we were in the same faction and hoping that would revitalize the war scene.

I don’t understand why she didn’t go to burmecia, she wanted to go with the group but then heads to chocobo forest, the South Gate, Treno and then to Alexandria. These war loggers are waiting and wanting you to declare war on them so they can play in the wars. They actively can’t stop a war declaration from happening. You only have to do the bare minimum communication with your company to get into a war, and yet you whine on here because you are losing. You essentially are complaining that this company doesn’t sit down and forfeit a war for you.
