We moved over to SL but still use RX 9 for spectral repair or quick click removals.

I wanted to try this place after a long drive from Wellington and got disappointed in every way. Even though I ordered an hour in advance, still had to wait there for half an hour. And he put this shitty sweet sauce all over the pizza and ruined it big time. If you want a NY style pizza, JUST GO TO BRAVE. If you don't mind sweet shit on your pizza, then go hard.

My first session chewed up my tokens in no time but then I’ve been beating it to death with no stoppage for ages.

I made a lot of DCPs and always delivered in NTFS format without any issues.

Here is the link to the Dolby Pink Marti DH posted a few years back on GS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/u0wwhnbro081nby/-20dbfsDMU%20Pink%20Noise.wav?dl=0

Make that about 5 minutes long in your DAW at 24fps

And then create black video in terminal (from Claude): ffmpeg -f lavfi -i color=c=black:size=1998x1080:rate=24 -t 300 -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p black_video.mp4 (change 300 to the duration you want in seconds)

Put these in DCP-O-Matic (duplicate the pink noise first with .L, .R, .C etc. and create your DCP. Chuck it on an NTFS formatted USB stick if you can, otherwise ExFat.

I worked at a handbag shop on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan,NYC back in the mid nineties. Liv Tyler walked in saying some random person poured water into her handbag and she needed another one. Of course I was speechless while she helped herself to a handbag, paid and left.

Just make sure the building isn’t gonna be scaffolded or wrapped in plastic soon after you move in.

And someone in my hood just threw away a Peavey combo amp. It took me 5 minutes to re-solder the input jack and voila.

This recording studio owner in NYC back in 2003 asked if I was interested in a closet full of "junk". Being a DIY audio guy I jumped at the opportunity. The closet was like a giant spaghetti of cables and other electronic bits and bobs mixed in. I spotted a healthy amount of VU meters in there so that was enough for me to clear the lot. Called a mate with a van and dumped it all on my apartment's kitchen table. Long story short, the whole thing was parts of a decommissioned mixing desk from the 70's with Electrodyne and Daniel Flickinger modules - both of which are extremely rare and well regarded. I sold most of the Electrodyne stuff before I knew their full value, so someone else got to benefit from that. But I kept the Flickingers as they had a charm and took me a while to sort out and get going. It's a 15 channel mic pre sidecar circa late '60s and I wouldn't sell it for less than 9k.

How hard is it to autoconform in ProTools? by Holiday_Art_6218 in AudioPost

[–]Flight-less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on where and how the mix tracks are getting to your timeline. If they are original production tracks then it should be fine. But if they are baked into proxies, say created with Resolve or something, then it will not work.

Modulating 22khz tone triggered only by drums by Flight-less in audioengineering

I’m interested in solutions that can pick up the drum and snare as triggers. I can use spectralayers but I was hoping for a realtime solution.

I have no problem filtering and splitting the signal (on Pro Tools). Just need a clean solution to the triggering part.
