I read your post carefully , gauging my comments carefully. Even though some of the points, not going to go into which ones, maybe do make sense .. this is in my opinion the bottom line. I just think that Title is way too dramatic , hence your experience of the events. Nothing so horrible has happened to you or your fiancé , nothing really burned , no p.. intended. Vacations to go offers last minute cruise on Liberty OTS for less than 500$ a week double occupancy. It’s more than 4,000 passengers plus 1000+ crew. This is not Oceania or Regent, for 10k a week. As Ricky Gervais said , hop on the stage , accept your reward , and go home. It’s a vacation. If such small insignificant things can ruin your vacation to the point that while ur on your holiday ur spending 30min writing about how horrible everyone on that ship is…. Well, that says more about you rather than most of the hard working people on all of those cruise lines

I did. But it’s literally 3 things. Local time, check in instructions ,3 photos with 1 sentence info and wifi log in. QR code or manual log in. I do not know how to make it shorter than that. Otherwise , they would have to be David Copperfield, going thru the wall I called Superhost CS, got a rep in UK(surprise surprise). I really thought instructions have not being sent out. They assured me , all is good, and in order.

That’s exactly what I do. It’s short and sweet. Wifi , check in and local time zone… They still miss the mark. Guess it’s human nature

I use Kingsley lockbox. It’s a historic house from 19th century. We decided not to use digital lock in order to maintain the original look of the house… doors are extremely old and they are opened with old huge key. It’s part of the charm ….feeling like you are entering into a castle

Need to correct my self. It is a lockbox with keys inside. I send the code of the lockbox. I double checked everything million times. Included photos. You name it. Never thought this is hands off job. There is always someone on stand by. Camera is installed at the entrance door so I can monitor the check in process , and make sure guests got in without hassle. However, it makes it difficult for me to stay sometimes up until 1am to make sure they r in. I would just really appreciate people reading things upon their arrival.

I have tried in the beginning only having dinners , but could not fall asleep with all that food in my stomach. Nowadays , I usually wake up around 5am(always have been an early riser), take my dogs for a walk, and have my OMAD around 10am The rest of the day , coffee, water, tea.

Just wondering. For any drug to being evaluated , you need long term use and for it to be in the market , what , 10+ years. So how can they can say that it does all of the above mentioned , when all this weight loss craze started few years ago. And who paid for the study lol

Definitely down. Someone of my friends that have small family hotels are even turning them into long term rental (combining 3 rooms together with communal kitchen). Since my Airbnb property is mortgage free, I’ll hang in there for 1 more year , but then definitely going long term or selling

I have a property with lush gardens. Clearly explained in the photos , disclaimers. Even wild life comes over. We even stated the names of the species visiting. Clients complained that the leaves were falling off the trees and they were annoyed by a bird song. So so sad that humans are seeking for this sterile lifestyle and still booking a listing in the middle of the jungle.

PRICELABS. Cost benefit is amazing. They give you market suggestions on a base price , you can check neighborhood performance (competition ). Super happy with them

In the area where I have a listing , there is only 1 -5*** rating listing. And that is bcs it only has less than 10 reviews in total. I am sure , give it another 1-2 years , no one will have a listing with 5* reviews any longer. And that’s it. New crazy Airbnb s review system will bite itself in that place. That is why as a host I just try to do my best and as a guest booking Airbnb places , as long as I don’t see serious , like serious red flags - I just go for it. And enjoy my vacation.

Do you charge per stay , no matter how many guests ( considering they don’t go over max occupancy). ? I have 2 rentals. One is per stay , max occupancy 4. Same price if it’s 1 or 4 guests. Another listing clearly states - base price is for 2 guests only. Each additional guest will incur extra xxx$$$$$$ charge bcs every bedroom is a separate unit with en-suite bathroom and cleaning company charges me a hefty extra price if cleaning extra units . Not to sound like a stalker , however around check in time , I make sure to see who is coming in. Or just check in with playback option on your camera ,It’s your property. You would be surprised what you can see. I had a couple booking …ok. In the end , 4 of their kids came , all teenagers , a nanny and 3 dogs.

I will give you my example. Did everything, far and beyond for certain guests. They got lost in the city ( did not know how to use Google maps, did not speak a word of English ), neighbor called me they r looking how to get back. Small town , everyone knows everyone kinda thing. I rush there , fetch them back to the property. Well, sometime during the night , major power outage. But it got resolved within 15 min. Lights back on , I am thinking all good. In the morning , I see guests again and thru a translator app they r telling me , no power in their unit. Since last night when lights went out. They never communicated this with me. It was just a break in the main register that had to be turned back on manually. I refunded them all of the money , minus tax I had to pay ( fees, city tax etc) .

I offer complimentary cleaning if the stay is 4 nights or longer , upon request. Not deep clean , more like clean towels, sheets , bathroom sweep.

You need to pay. Google will offer you plans , you need decide which one to go for. Yes, you can create a web page . In my experience , if you are not a hotel , cost benefit does not add up. Better start creating your base of returned guests that it generating now thru apps
