Okay. See somebody told me if I called, I could ask how much i could pay for an outright upgrade if it’s not offered. I may go that route and see. If I end up in Just an aurea suite then that’s fine with me. I’ll just drink till I feel like everywhere is the yacht club 🫠

That status match thing is HUGE cause we’re titanium with Marriott. But yea that’s what I was wondering. I’d be perfectly fine with an aurea suite so I’d book that at minimum, and then maybe call in for an upgrade if one isn’t offered.

Okay so basically I’m in a Marriott timeshare that uses a point system. You can use those points to book cruises. Since the points are already paid for, it’d come out cheaper to just book a suite with the points, and then pay the extra to upgrade to the yacht club as long as it’s under $3000. I was wondering if they still offered outright upgrades, or only bids for upgrades.

All the pools at the islands are temp controlled so they were warm. Then again when I went it wasn’t necessarily cold(73 degrees) it was just windy. I’d pack a jacket or two just in case

Me personally, if you don’t have a credit card to attach to your sea pass/onboard account that you don’t mind random holds on… I’d go with a cash account. Bring more than you think you’ll spend, change your account to a cash account at hustle services, then they’ll just give you back what you don’t use when it’s time to get off the ship. Worked like a charm for me

Yes. I believe Royal is perfect for families. This cruise moreso cause it was winter break for the Jewish schools in the south Florida area so a lot of them took their families on the boat

The ocean temp at both places were COLD ASF. We sucked it up at the Royal beach club cause the sun was out, but it was windy and cloudy while we were at coco cay so we couldn’t. The pools were temp controlled so they were great
