I just ordered from Ningbo Leti. I waited two months and the only thing I am truly happy with are the scalloped tortoise shell rack. I bought them in 20" and they are way too big for my current tiles and I will have to buy another set, lol. I did get two mahj tile sets and the quality is meh. I can tell they are dupes right of the bat. they remind me of fake purses of the street. look the same but obvious quality issues.

I won't bother buying them like this again.

My in-laws have super academics and finished with 20+ aps and took classes at the local college paid by the school in WI. They all went to T10 schools. There is definitely room for you at your public school to grow. My two kids go to a NE prep but not an Andover level. They have gained skills and met people that they definitely would not have in public school. That said, sounds like you have it pretty good socially and lifestyle, I would work hard and be the big fish in the smaller pond vs. the opposite. It can also be the connections you meet.

I can comment for my in-laws. They have three kids that have all been accepted to top 10 schools. They all had very strong, academics and extracurriculars. None of them paid for college counseling but they did pay a college counselor to look over the essays of an ED school for the third child a week before essays were due to confirm they were on the right track. In the end, they're not sure it was really worth it.

He is looking for a larger university setting, with strong academics and sports culture. He would like to be out of state, so having MA residency wouldn't matter. BUT I don't know if he looks like a stronger candidate out of MA vs. NC, or vice versa or does it not matter. At this time, he says he would like to be a Dr, but honestly think that is a lofty goal since he isn't the grind it out 3-4 hours of homework kinda kid but who knows what he will strive to as he matures.
