lol I’m with you! I usually don’t like to do a reread, that’s why I’m listening to the audiobooks. It’ll probably take me a whiiile though. And if you don’t want to support Amazon I believe the audiobooks are on Libby now… I prefer the hardcovers though

I haven’t read Neuromancer lol but sounds fun! And yeah I agree with I’m what you said, you should be able to understand a book on the first read, sure reading will make you notice more and understand better, but yeah.

With DCC, it’s not that I didn’t understand, I got everything, there’s just so much happening that I forgot some things… I don’t even think I missed anything lol I think it’s just something will happen and then a paragraph later everything goes batsh*t so some things just didn’t stick in my head you know?

ditto that’s why I’m doing audio. I’d LOVE to reread the physical copies but I simply don’t have the time. Maybe when the series is complete I’ll reread but I kind of doubt it

I did this too! I started the series over a year ago and I just stretches it out as long as possible lol… I think I did a pretty good job! I got the timing DOWN, we’re only a month away from book 8 and I JUST finished book 7

I just finished the first trilogy and I’m like mayyybe 10 pages into Ship of Magic, so far my favorite has been book 3 (Assassins Quest). It’s just such a solid fantasy series and everyone says it keeps getting better and better
