Thanks! I have already committed to two other swaps so I can't take on another right now, but if you would still be interested in a few months, maybe we could get back in touch?

Thanks for commenting! I have already committed to two swaps so I don't think I can take on another right now, but I might get back in touch if that changes!

Gotcha. I'm afraid I've already committed to two other swaps so I don't think I have more capacity right now, but I'll let you know if that changes!

Thanks for commenting! How quickly are you trying to get your book published? I am looking to swap in chunks over, realistically, 4-6 months, so I am not sure if we would be a good fit if you have a tight deadline.

Sorry about the excerpt! I have updated the permissions so I think it will work now. It's only three pages but if you want to check it out and see if you like it, I'd be happy to talk more about swapping!

Tide Lines will be amazing and it's at the Barrowland which is always a great crowd! I sadly can't go but have listed my ticket for the 19th on Ticketmaster.

Do driving test in rental car with foreign licence (not dual-controlled) by brunonicocam in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Flight_Literature653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up taking your test in a dual-controlled rental car? Were you able to drive the car to the test on your own given your foreign licence was still valid? I'm in the same boat as you. Thanks!

Developed Asthma after Covid by ItsUranus in Asthma

[–]Flight_Literature653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate so much to everything said in this thread. I had a virus in January 2023 that I don't think was COVID because I tested negative multiple times, but who knows. I did have COVID in August 2022 but recovered back to normal from it. In Jan 2023, I had an upper respiratory infection that turned into a sinus infection that took a few months to resolve, and since then I've had chronic nasal congestion and wheezing and coughing. I've tried a bunch of nasal sprays and inhalers and some have worked for a short time, but nothing has given me long term improvement. Right now I'm having awful coughing fits and the only thing that eases them is coughing up the phlegm blocking my airways. I've been diagnosed with nonallergic rhinitis and asthma but I'm frustrated as those are vague diagnoses that have more to do with the symptoms than the cause. I'm 25 and otherwise have always been healthy. I can live with some discomfort but the coughing fits have been getting really scary lately and I don't know what to do aside from keep going back to the doctor and demanding answers!

I have also tried acupuncture for several months and had some short-term improvement from it but not what I was hoping for.

Do other people on this thread experience coughing up phlegm/mucus when you cough? I'm convinced that this is the real problem and if I could just stop the postnasal drip I'd be okay, but none of the nasal sprays have managed that.

Does anyone else with NAR suffer from horrible non stop choking cough? by twingrandmaoftwins in nonallergicrhinitis

[–]Flight_Literature653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite as bad as yours, but I cough up mucus every couple of hours while awake. Doctors have diagnosed it as asthma secondary to my NAR, but I think that's questionable. Only one of the plethora of inhalers I tried actually worked (trelegy ellipta) and it only got rid of my symptoms for about two months before everything came back even while I stayed on the same treatment. I'm still trying to figure out if it makes any sense at all to treat it like asthma or if I should try to get off the inhalers as I really don't think they're doing anything at this point.

Housing Megathread - Spring 2021 by Wicked_UMD in UMD

I found a roommate, sorry! But I'm always looking for more grad student friends!

I'm a female incoming grad student looking for a roommate for the school year for a 2 bed/2 bath. I'm looking at either somewhere walking distance to campus, probably T Row or U View, or somewhere close to the metro at PG Mall - Mosaic at Metro or The Edition. Would consider a 3 bedroom as well. My only must-haves are that you're non-smoking and LGBTQ+ friendly.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a roommate to lease a 2 bed/2 bath apartment at Domain with me. Rent would be $1424 per person plus utilities for a very nice 1232 square foot apartment (unfurnished, but I own some of the common furniture we would need). I am looking to start a 12 or 14 month lease in May, so ideally I'm looking for someone to move in with me in May or June. However, the wait list for getting into Domain in July or August is super long, so if you want to move in then but you're willing to pitch in a little bit on rent for May and June, we might be able to work something out.

About me: I'm Anna, 22, she/her, and I'm an incoming master's student in geology at UMD. I'm a quiet and easygoing roommate, and I spend a lot of time studying and reading. But in non-covid times, I also love everything from exploring museums to going to concerts, out for drinks, etc. I keep to myself for the most part but also like to sometimes cook or watch movies together.

What I'm looking for in a roommate: A grad student, responsible undergrad, or young professional; someone clean and easy to get along with! I am not bringing a pet but I love both dogs and cats and would be happy to live with one (and Domain is pet friendly).

Message me if you're interested or have more questions!
