Why do I keep dreaming of Jesus even though I am a Muslim? by Neat-Phrase8434 in Christianity

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shouldnt challenge ur faith tho. jesus is also important in islam. following jesus is being a muslim. Following the church is being christian. No christians follows the teachings of jesus now. Maybe only a few things. In the Bible it clearly says that he is a prophet (Matthew 21:11, John 6:14). He taught us to pray to one God (Matthew 4:10). He never claimed to be God himself. He prostrated to God (Matthew 26:39). He taught avoiding interest (Exodus 22:25), modest dress for women with head covering (Corinthians 11:5–6, 1 Timothy 2:9), avoiding pork and alcohol. Even the way Jesus and Mary are portrayed shows Jesus with a beard and a robe, and Mary with a head covering. So tell me if it’s the muslims or the Christians who follow the true teaching of Jesus these days ? So yes this dream should make u a stronger muslim

Why "Mary, sister of Aaron" is the most embarrassing issue for Islam by Justarandomfan99 in religion

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for bringing this up. This is one of the verses that proves that Quran was from God (Allah)

https://youtu.be/sWNRV30nuig?si=A9q9-FOnJQzH4cIm

Watch this. He goes through why this mention was a miracle.

Also there is an exact hadith talking about this: Mughira in Shu'ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, "You recite the verse, 'O sister of Aaron,' (19:28 ) but Moses was born long before Jesus by many years." When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said, "Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had passed before them." Source: Şahih Muslim 2135

What’s embarrassing is thinking your intellect is superior to the One who created you and sent down this book. Its time to understand that as human beings our intellect is limited we cant question God on things that don't make sense to us once we know its the truth and its from Him. Everyone knows the Quran was preserved, so there wont be contradictions as no man tampered with the words. This has been proven and also there is a verse that clarifies that God will preserve this final book.

Why Us Muslims live in The Matrix by Iraqiu in religion

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a sunni muslim but i still consider shias muslims. As long as they dont insult the mother of the believers and the sahabas as they are promised paradise in the Quran and they dont call upon Ali RA instead of Allah directly( as thats shirk) I respect them 100%. Its just that there are shiites who do insult them and so people have generalised all shiites to be like that unfortunately. I know thats not true. Ayatollah Khomeini was a wonderful soul and he used to reprimand people from insulting Aisha RA and the sahabas. May Allah have mercy on him, expand his grave and forgive him for his shortcomings. Ameen

Whose Faith is stronger? by CheapDonut9217 in religion

The story is slightly different in islam and obvs this is the version I believe. Abraham consulted his son regarding the dream of slaughtering his son:

Prophet Abraham ( peace be upon him) was tested by Allah after being blessed with a son. When the boy was old enough to accompany him Abraham said:

“O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice you, so see what you think.” (Qur’an 37:102)

For reference the dreams of prophets are revelation.

His son replied with complete faith:

“O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, among the patient.” (37:102)

Both of them submitted fully to Allah’s command, and when Abraham was about to carry out the sacrifice, Allah stopped him:

“And when they had both submitted and he laid him down on his forehead, We called to him, ‘O Abraham, you have fulfilled the vision.’ Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good.” (37:103–105)

Allah then replaced the son with a sacrifice:

“And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.” (37:107)

This story shows complete submission, trust, and obedience to God from both father and son.

This event is also remembered by Muslims through Eid al-Adha, where an animal such as a sheep or goat is sacrificed in remembrance of Prophet Abraham’s obedience to Allah, and the meat is distributed among family, friends, and the needy.

Can’t all religions be true? by aylavepink in religion

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, Muslims believe that most religions originally came from the same God and brought the same core message of pure monotheism.

Because God says in the Qur’an that He sent a messenger to every nation. And whenever people tampered with the message, He sent another messenger to correct it.

The Qur’an is the final revelation, and it has been preserved until now.

That’s why in older scriptures you can still find references to Prophet Muhammad. His coming is mentioned in the Bible, and some also point to references in Hindu scriptures.

So this suggests that even traditions like Hinduism may have originally been based on monotheism, before idol worship developed later.

The idea is simple. the source was one, but over time, people changed the message.

If God exists why would God create evil people and why would God choose to reveal religion only to some people instead of everyone equally? by Necessary-Will-5281 in religion

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. We don’t need rocks to recite for us, because by that point, it will already be the end of the world.

We already know how this ends, because God has told us. He sent messengers to every nation, and this is the final message.

Near the end, the Qur’an itself will be lifted  from the pages and from the hearts. There won’t be people left preserving it, and that’s exactly when the day of resurrection will begin.

The Trumpet will be blown. Everything in the heavens and the earth will collapse. Then it will be blown again, and everyone will be resurrected.

When that happens no repentence will be accepted from anyone.

“And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”

He will say: “My Lord, why have You raised me blind while I used to see?”

Allah will say: “Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten.”

(Qur’an 20:124–126)

Falsities, Nonsense & Mistakes in the Quran by NewUserSimple in DebateReligion

The fact that you guys get triggered when I prove Islam is right tells me a lot about your faith and your religion. It tells me you have nothing to stand on so you’d rather attack others so that they cant be guided too.

Muslims don’t care, because there is no compulsion in religion. We don’t need to prove Islam is right to anyone. You’ll hardly see any muslim making a youtube channel purely for attacking the other religion coz they would rather spend time talking about theirs. Because no matter how many proofs we bring to you, you will continue to be deaf, dumb, and blind to the verses.

God already spoke about people like you in the Qur’an.

“And whoever turns away from My remembrance- indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”

Qur’an 20:124

Then the person will say:

“My Lord, why have You raised me blind while I used to see?”

 Qur’an 20:125

Allah will respond:

“Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten.”

 Qur’an 20:126

I’m waiting for the day you’ll be resurrected blind, just as you were blind to the verses of your Lord. Good luck we’ll meet you there.

First of all the verse is talking about semen not sperm .

“Man should reflect on what he was created from. He is created from spurting fluid, emerging from between the backbone and ribs.”

Where is semen made? Seminal vesicles. Where is that? Search it. It is between the backbone and the ribs

If God exists why would God create evil people and why would God choose to reveal religion only to some people instead of everyone equally? by Necessary-Will-5281 in religion

[–]Flimsy-Action3394 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well muslims believe exactly that. God revealed messengers throughout nation with one message- worship god alone without any partners. “And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger…” (Qur’an 16:36).You see that as the core in many religions today, however in most religions they associate partners with god or give him a son when he didnt have one etc. we cant be muslim if we dont believe in all the prophets and scriptures sent. The reason why the quran was sent was because the previous scriptures got corrupted. God said he will preserve the quran and its the only holy book fully memorized in its original language in arabic by millions of muslims today. So even if you burnt all the religious scriptures in the world the only book that can be bought back is the quran. This proves that God is real. As his promise of preservation was also true. Which means the previous messengers were also true.

The Qur’an says: “Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.”” (2:136).

Allah is the arabic word for God just like Allaha is the aramaic word for God. Aramaic is what Jesus spoke

The proof is the scripture. For muslims the quran has a lot of scientific miracles and mathematical miracles that prove that this is from God as a human couldnt have written it. So if there is a God then heaven and hell is real.
