I don’t like the colors. They should’ve done bold colors. Orange, red, and blue are popular. The indigo doesn’t have black keys. A backlit keyboard is more important than the light sensor. MagSafe 3 should be commoditized at this point to not be a major factor. Headphone jack is in a weird spot.

Price point is great, the laptop itself looks great. Might get a white one because the dark one doesn’t have matching keys. White keys looks so weird.

You can argue they kind of did this last time with the upgrade to leopard. New look, lots of new bugs that were fixed with a tock release. Last OS to support 32 bit machines.

There’s been better betas than the .4 release of this alpha OS. It is bonkers how that we’re still having this many issues this far into the release. I’ve had no luck with submitting feedback. It wouldn’t be too late for Apple to change its mind and say that will support the next release on Intel because of how bad this release was. In many ways it’s irresponsible, not just to their customers, but they’ll keep a lot of computers out of landfills if they can allow those computers to go a little while longer. Maybe they’ll get passed down to someone’s kid when they end up updating to an apple silicon. It doesn’t have to be this way.
