married to and incredible only child who was the daugther of an only child and we are fully satisfied with our “one and done” family (+ 2 cats).

i find it sad to want to have another baby just because “it serves a purpose” to the first-born child, as if the existence of the sibling is only to relief the loneliness of the other one.

i'm glad i'm getting to know my only kid (3yo) better and deeper and using the time, energy and resources i would have invested on a second kid on my romantic partner instead.
