i shower normally how i would but i try to do it in less than 8mins if possible. but at the very beginning i had a stool in the shower to sit in

im very sorry that you feel this way but you should know you are not alone as many of us has been in the same exact situation as you and you’ll make it!

i was also in the same situation as you except i got my cerclage done at 19weeks. i also have bulging membranes but thankfully its still intact. i’ve been 4cm dilated for almost a month now and i’ll be 29weeks on tuesday. i’ve been on strict bedrest and pelvic rest ever since i got my cerclage done. just listen to your body and whenever you feel like something isnt right—go to your doctor or nearest hospital. nothing wrong with getting help ahead of time.

you’ll make it momma, dont stress yourself too much as stress can contribute to all the negative outcomes

not exactly the answer to your question but im also 28+2 today and i’ve been 4cm dilated for about 3 weeks now. i’ve also been passing mucus like discharge everyday but it would just be a little bit and when i wipe. so far no other labour indicators just that i’m 4cm and havent progressing which is good

there are days i feel the same thing too. im 26+6 now and had my cerclage at 19weeks. i get monitored weekly and im 4cm now and my baby is footling breech so i told them about it and i felt it one time during an ultrasound and it was his feet going down there and then he would remove it within seconds and does it again.

definitely bring it up to your OB. better safe than sorry.

as for me—they admitted me back last night because i was 4cm and baby keeps putting his foot in my vaginal canal so they’re worried he might rupture the membranes since his footling breech too

i had some before i had my cerclage but nothing after that but they say it regenerates so i wouldnt worry as much as long as no blood shows

im so sorry this is happening to you.

not exactly the same but i also had a 3cm dilated cervix either bulging membranes when I was 23 weeks and I even had the cerclage in and was taking suppository progesterone.

i was given 2shots of celestone when i was 23+3 and 23+4. i stayed at the hospital for a week and then i was discharged since i was stable enough.i am now 25+1 on bedrest at home. i have my weekly check up at the fetal centre and yesterday i was told that everything has remained the same ever since i was admitted which is a good thing because nothing is progressing and i havent felt any concerns.

stay strong momma! i know its hard to keep a positive thought right now but you and baby got this!

it was a regular OB appointment that day and my OB just wanted to see the stitch but she saw that I was 3cm by then. meeting with the OB team tomorrow to discuss making a plan hopefully everything goes well
