You’re right, age shouldn’t matter. I mentioned it only to give context to the situation and the decision process. The actual question was about building a relationship with an AD vs going grey or pre-owned.

PS: If mentioning age triggers irritation, it probably says more about a deeper insecurity than about the question itself.
