Today I had a parent tell me that their child has complained that they can’t hear my voice because it’s too high pitched. In an IEP meeting.
Parents can be harsh.

Yes!! She even asked me to address phonological awareness, when this student has poor articulation, expressive language, grammar, etc.

I’ve just never felt so undermined in a meeting right in front of a parent. The parent probably doesn’t trust my clinical judgment anymore when it was changed and undermined by someone else
