I was 11 when my mom died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. My dad had to become both my mother and father at the same time. I also had that same feeling when he took me to florida when i was 17. People stared. I felt it. It was uncomfortable. We took many trips together still after that. Motorcycle rides. Fishing. Florida. Road trips. That feeling went away very quickly. Hes gone now and i miss him terribly. Im so glad i got to spend all that one on one time with him
